I was searching for about a year for a doctor who could provide realistic results and help me with the pain in my back and neck due to my large breast growth postpartum. I found Dr. Posso online and immediately knew I trusted her with my surgery after viewing elaborate details of surgery and healing from clients she showcases on her Instagram. For my initial consultation, I sent a photo of my chest and we discussed the physical and emotional pain I was experiencing. Before arriving in Medellín, Dra. Posso stayed in contact and reminded me to stop taking my supplements to prepare my body. For the first appointment, Dra. Posso did a physical assessment of my breasts, and validated that my pain was from my breasts. Dra. Posso also explained that my posture was abnormal due to my breast size. We walked to a mirror in her office and she showed me what she thinks will be best for me. The pre-operation team was very kind and worked with me through a language barrier as no one wanted anything to be misunderstood in translation. The anesthesiologist was very gentle, I woke up feeling like I had taken a nap. Within an hour of waking up, I was walking to the restroom. Two hours later, I was released and a home health nurse helped me with administering medication for the beginning of my healing process. I received 2 bras to wear to ensure my breasts are supported. Throughout the next two weeks, I felt immediate relief and I could sleep comfortably at night which I have not been able to achieve since breastfeeding. Our follow-up appointments consisted of education on what to expect going forward. From physical expectations to scarring, every detail was explained clearly. I am very satisfied with my new body and very excited to live a normal life without excess weight on my chest. I used to think I had sciatica and I haven’t experienced a flare-up since surgery. I was sent home with 4 sets of bandages with a gel-like substance for my incisions. Thank you Dra. Posso and thank you to her team that made this surgery as smooth as possible for me. I know this is an elective surgery, but this particular surgery gave me a piece of myself and I am forever grateful it was with Dra. Posso 💗
