Dr. Madrid is the definition of professionalism and a facial artist. He takes the time to listen to goals and desires carefully, explains every step of the process thoroughly, takes and shares numerous before and after photos, and never rushes. I trust him and his process and recommend him to all my friends.

I’ve had several treatments with Dr. Madrid, and honestly, I look 10 years younger, and super natural, too. Highly recommend him; he really knows what he’s doing.

To be fair with the review rating, it is only a rating of the consult and not his artistic talent. Only two products historically have given good results for me. I did a consult for a different filler product, a collagen thread listed on their website, instead of Sculptra, for new aging issues. I like that the doctor takes a fresh look perspective and lets you know what he sees and what procedures and products he recommends so you can research them. So under eyes is a new issue I've never noticed for which he has a solution. I'm almost curious enough to see the results to let him do that. But he didn't have enough before/after pics to see enough of a difference so I'll research that online later. Otherwise, he doesn't do collagen threads even though it's on the website. Maybe he's used them and doesn't like the outcome, not conveyed though. We both agree on Botox for certain areas, but it was really painful getting a price from him on that. Usually you do all the areas and multiply the units by a per unit price. I had to ask about the per unit price several times, no simple price. We established the price from eyes and above was like 980k COP and then before the eyes it's 20k per unit before the eyes. Fine, the pretty unit price is reasonable, but it's going to take some unnecessary research to figure out how much I paid for forehead and crows feet reduction in the past since it's always a per unit price. I'm not a fan of companies that are not transparent with pricing. For the tried and true Sculptra for jaw and cheek filler and skin thickener, he was opposed to Sculptra and recommended another filler. Sculptra is difficult to work with if not trained on it. After the consult I looked up the two filler reviews on the same medical rating website, and Sculptra has a 77% satisfaction rating while the recommended filler only has a 67% satisfaction rating. For people out of high school 67% is a D grade that means you almost failed the class. Closer to 80% means you at least tried to pass the class. So, I loved the enthusiasm. It was very difficult to take notes, skipping between all the new products recommended. I'll stick with Sculptra and Botox as I have for a very long time. It's very common in Latin America to ask a question and someone give you a great answer for another question. It's not so productive in a doctor's office and just makes you think the doctor isn't listening to you. So you have to keep asking the same questions and skipping around the products he has moved on to, until you get an answer for the original questions. It took almost a half hour of confusion to get through basically three questions of product and price. I'm sure he probably does great work with all the great reviews.
