I traveled from Florida to Medellin for a rhinoplasty after having communicated with the doctor for three months. Right from the beginning, I noticed a lot of disorganization from her secretary. During our Zoom meetings, I would often have to wait an extra hour because the doctor was busy. The secretary frequently misplaced important information and repeatedly asked me to resend documents. Before purchasing my flight, I confirmed my travel dates with the secretary, and she assured me they were fine. However, just a few days before my trip, she informed me that the doctor would be out of town and unable to meet with me in person before the surgery, which seemed strange and unprofessional. They showed little respect for my time, and we had to postpone the surgery by a day just so I could have an in-person consultation with the doctor. During the appointment, I didn’t feel comfortable; the doctor had forgotten critical medication information I’d shared during our first consultation. I ultimately decided to cancel the operation, and when I expressed my concerns, the secretary was extremely unprofessional, blaming me for coming despite knowing the doctor would be out of town. I'm sharing this experience for others considering traveling from abroad with limited time. I don't necessarily believe the doctor is bad, but there are significant issues with organization and communication in her office. Additionally, I was charged for the appointment fee, even though I had already paid it previously.

I had an appointment scheduled for 4:30 PM sat and waited for an hour only to have to ask the receptionist when I would be seen. She said she didn’t know. I wasted two hours coming to this office, the office staff is extremely unprofessional. This doctor came highly recommended, she needs a new office staff because they are costing her a lot of money. I will take my business somewhere else where my time is appreciated.
