I had an amazing experience with Illusion Plastic Surgery from start to finish. I recently had a 360 liposuction with J Plasma and a BBL done, and I am extremely happy with my results. The entire team was caring, professional, attentive, and supportive throughout the whole process. They answered all my questions, made me feel comfortable and safe, and truly cared about my recovery and satisfaction. The staff was always kind and available whenever I needed help or reassurance. My results look beautiful and natural, and I’m so grateful for the confidence this experience has given me. I highly recommend Illusion Plastic Surgery to anyone looking for a trustworthy clinic in West Palm Beach, Florida, with excellent care and amazing results. Thank you to the whole team for everything you did for me!

The surgical result itself was good and aligned with what I wanted. I am satisfied with the aesthetic outcome. However, my post-operative experience was disappointing. Communication after the procedure was very poor. It was difficult to get timely responses when trying to schedule follow-up appointments, and I felt that my concerns were not addressed clearly. The overall communication felt confusing and unstructured. I was also surprised that the surgeon did not personally see me after the surgery. I was not provided with my before-and-after photos, even though this appears to be standard practice for other patients. Additionally, I was not informed about how much skin or fat was removed during the procedure, which I believe is basic information that should be shared. Another concern was the discharge process. I was told I would remain in the clinic for approximately two hours after waking up from anesthesia. However, I was discharged much sooner. I had barely woken up and was escorted out to the car in the rain without being asked how I was feeling or whether I felt ready to leave. That made me feel rushed and not properly monitored. While I am happy with the surgical outcome, the lack of communication, transparency, and attentive post-operative care significantly impacted my overall experience. I hope the clinic improves its follow-up care and patient communication in the future.

I hoped to redeem my experience with Illusions Plastic Surgery. By giving them the opportunity to make things right after mistakes and lies on their part. There have been several concerning issues with my experience. First, my pre surgery video chat consultation was cancelled the Friday before my surgery the following Monday. On the day of my surgery, my surgery time was postponed multiple times throughout the day moving from 10am to somewhere around 6:30pm. I was in a freezing room with bright lights and a thin surgical gown unable to eat or drink for a much longer period of time than expected resulting in a migraine headache by the time 2 people came into the room. Neither one was the surgeon I had been told multiple times would be my surgeon. They consulted with me only 3-5 minutes and by the time they left I still had no idea that they were replacing my promised surgeon. The anesthesiologist came in and I was very confused and started to panic as I did not ever have a proper consultation. The pressure to go ahead with the surgery was huge compounded by the fact I was out of state. I asked where my surgeon was and who would be my surgeon and was told everything would be fine. I didn’t leave the surgical center until after 11pm that night. My mother was in complete panic not knowing where I was or how it could have possibly taken so long. Within a month or so I reached out as I could see after the swelling passed, that my original concerns were not addressed properly. After many texts, I was given a video consultation with the new physician at the practice. He agreed that the procedure was not done properly. He said that muscles in my cheek should have been sutured and that my lower face was not adequately tightened. In addition, when showing that there was zero positive result from my brow lift, he said he couldn’t explain why it was done at all. I was told my corrective surgery was needed. I was told to call in when I was ready to come in for the revision. I have been calling since last August trying to get this done. I understand that it’s no one’s preference to have a revision, but the responsibility lies with Illusions. I do not have a good result, and I will also have to travel out of state again to have it addressed. All I asked was that they fulfill what was paid for and then what was already agreed to last May. I paid 9000 dollars for 3 procedures. 1 was done fairly well minus the strange scarring behind my ear, 1 should have never been done, and 1 was done half way. I only asked the lower face and cheek issue be readjusted even though there were many more issues than just this. They have ghosted me, switched surgeons without telling me, and left me with a mediocre result. It’s completely unacceptable.

Do not go to this place no matter what the other “incentivized” reviews tell you. This surgery center and my surgery coordinator butchered my face and now I am spending thousands to fix their hack job. The owner offered to speak with me then was never available and handed me off to a woman in her billing who I could barely understand when speaking to. The surgery coordinator and nurse told me after my surgery that I needed to stay a week in order to have my sutures removed and I did. When I went to my appointment, the surgeon who assured me he would Followup with me in my first appointment back was missing and an unskilled nurse ended up being the one who removed maybe 25% of my sutures. At one point in time, I was so frustrated from her consistently missing a suture right next to my eye and poking my eye that I asked if I could take it out myself. She got me a light and allowed me to do so and I got it in the second try. She apologized and said it was due to the bad lighting and she doesn’t normally do this stuff for the patients anyways. I have added pictures of how they left me. When I left Florida 2 weeks later I left being told to”just have your doctor at home take them out in a couple more days”. This place is upset unprofessional and I highly recommend spending a little more to go to a reputable surgery center. I have had many surgeries and this is the worst organization I have dealt with and the most unprofessional and unqualified group of “professionals” I have come across! The picture will show you some of the healing over sutures and the rippling and bunching of skin in around just my ears. My mid face is worse!

Very disappointing experience. We went for an in-person consultation and waited over 1 hour and 50 minutes without being seen by the doctor. The worst part was that no one had the decency to keep us informed. It was only when we decided to leave, after more than 1 hour and 50 minutes, that they told us the doctor was in surgery and offered an apology—something they could and should have done from the beginning to avoid such an unpleasant experience. After leaving, I called the coordinator twice and never received a return call. I also sent a message and received no response. What should have been a good first impression turned into a total disappointment. If this is how they handle a first consultation, I can’t imagine what it would be like after you’ve already paid. I do not recommend this clinic if you value your time.
