Dr Fan and his staff were very personable and answered all questions and concerns I had regarding the surgery and recovery. I am pleased with my results and am happy to be active again. Surgery day was smooth and easy, they gave enough medication for pain management. I did follow their holistic approach with vitamins to aid with the healing process, which I believe helped. The only part I hatted was the drains but it really is mind over matter. Once they were removed it was smooth sailing, there were a couple of pains for the nerves regenerating. Plus any questions or concerns I had I just had to call the office or message and all questions were answered. Aquaphor and light massages really did help with the healing process.

I had an excellent experience under the care of Dr. Kenneth Fan. From the very first consultation, Dr. Fan stood out for his professionalism, clarity, and thoughtful approach. He took the time to listen carefully, explain every step of the process in detail, and ensure that I felt fully informed and comfortable with my options. His calm demeanor and precision immediately inspired confidence. Dr Fan exceeded my expectations, He treats each concern with respect and genuine attention, never rushing through appointments and always prioritizing safety and well-being. I am deeply grateful for his work and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a highly skilled and compassionate plastic surgeon.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, one of my biggest fears was what it would mean for my body. I had heard so many difficult stories from family members and witnessed it firsthand so I was honestly terrified of losing a part of myself. From the very beginning, Dr. Fan and every single person in his office were nothing short of incredible. Every visit, every interaction, all the pre-surgery chats.. I was met with compassion, kindness and genuine care. They made me feel safe during one of the most vulnerable times in my life. As for Dr. Fan’s work—I truly don’t have the words to fully express my gratitude. I still have my nipples, my sensation, and, most importantly, a sense of identity I was so afraid I would lose through this journey. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me that back. I will forever be grateful.

This rating isn’t for Dr. Fan, more for the team he has surrounding him. I met Dr. Fan once during my initial consultation. He wasn’t present post surgery, nor after surgery. So again this rating isn’t for him but for his staff. The other doc’s, nurses anesthesiologist and tech’s, who worked my case for him. They are a great bunch of people, who listen to my concerns and showed real professionalism. A life changing surgery such as this, I personally think it’s important for the patient to see and talk with the person performing this surgery. Is that a thing or is it just me? Some say a good leader doesn’t need to be present if he has a great team, but I say a GREAT team will do great things, because they have had to learn to work around a not so great leader.

I traveled to Georgetown for a second opinion with Dr. Fan for the best outcome from my breast cancer reconstruction surgery. Dr. Fan listened to concerns and questions. He was personable, open and caring. I feel with his care, expertise and skill I have the best chance of feeling and looking feminine after my breast cancer surgery
