I had my son naturally at Hillcrest South at 28 weeks. They were not equipped to care for preemies born before 34 weeks so my baby was transferred by ambulance to the main campus (Utica) shortly after he was born. Our story is pretty unique, I’ll spare you the details. But it is absolutely terrifying to have your baby taken to another location while you’re still trying to process a very quick, unexpected and eventful birthing experience. Everybody we dealt with from the very beginning of the transfer until we were discharged 64 days later was absolutely amazing. I would not wish a NICU stay on anybody but the nurses especially took a lot of the scary out of our stay and we could never say or do enough to express our gratitude and appreciation. That said, thank you Adam, Maddie, Karlye, Colson, Josh, Brooke, Brittany, Emily, Kayla, Emma, Sue, Elise, Sherry, Erika, Ally, the Rachels, the Courtneys and of course, Jeff. I know I missed some names and I’m sorry but I hope you all know how deeply appreciated you are and how much of a difference you made in our lives. We can’t thank you enough. Although our stay is over, we will continue sending you all love and keeping you in our prayers. You’re all amazing, beautiful humans. We will never forget you. Thank you. ❤️ - The Woolleys

Great place to go when your in need of a hospital stay. Emergency room to floor to operating room was fantastic. Staff is always there when you need them. Very polite, explain everything to you, let you ask questions, and everyone was so patient with me.

I recently had a procedure done by Dr. Hunt. Every person involved from the time I arrived until I left treated me so well. Dr. Hunt listened and explained things well. The anesthesiologist and nurses were attentive and took good care of me. They were kind and professional.

My labor & delivery team were incredible. They talked me through every step, and made me feel confident even when I was so scared. Then my post-partum nurses and techs got me through a long week, along with the amazing nicu nurses and doctors that took care of my son. Couldn’t have had a better experience!

I was going in for a colonoscopy and I was scheduled to take all my Golyte for my bowels to release before I got to Hillcrest as I rise upon Hillcrest center I went through registration and then went to the 8 th floor the was called back by my Dr nurse which was Jesudass intake nurse that was so rude during the process of me get my IV in and all monitors hooked up and as all this was happening it was 3 nurses aide all in the room at one time doing things not explaining nothing to me curtains wide open no assumed knock on the upon of enter in the room I was floored because I went to nursing school and they taught all the things I just announced and the ring leader of all this kaouse was the intake nurse because the way she spoke to me when I asked her to be polite to me with please behind my phrase her response was that I was going to be difficult and my first response was to leave right then until she spoke to in a rude way about me asking for a bag for my clothes and she announced you don't trust us and I said it's not that I don't trust the staff but I have a wife that can hold all my personal belongings such as my wallet and keys and that was a problem so she refused me getting a bag so after the procedure my colon wasn't properly cleansed and after surgery I had bowels all over me so I asked for soap and water for a sponge bath in the sink so I could put towels all on the floor and wash the bowels of my legs and back and stomach this stuff was everywhere to where a wipe couldn't get this stuff off me so I was standing in the middle of the floor in the restroom arguing with the intake nurse asking for towels and the she announced how it was against the law for her to give me towels to clean myself up and that's why there is wipes in the restroom for me so I said just give me the blanket that my wife was covering up with because she sent my wife out to get the car and she wouldn't give this blanket going back and forth with this nurse when this type of action should have never took place if this nurse loved her job because ever thing I asked for and everything that I went through comes with the nursing skills of a team in progression to a better instorement of goodness of a better store house of neighbors
