Dr. Juan Rendon and his team are the kindest, most welcoming, thorough group to work with. I received many consultations before moving forward with Dr. Rendon and his beside manner, explanations, patience, answering my many questions were professional, above expectation and assuring. There is no mystery or surprises as he explains everything and if you have more questions or need clarification, he and his team are a text or phone call away. As hesitant as I was to get a procedure, Dr. Rendon is the only way forward. He goes above and beyond checking up on his patients, sending flowers during recovery, and so much more.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Rendon. He is very personable and cares about his patients and the results they get. He takes time to answer all your questions without making you feel rushed. Additionally, every single person that works in that office has been amazing with a special shout out to Lupe, the patient coordinator and Ursula, one of the attendants in the room when I saw Dr. Rendon (not sure of her title). Seems like everybody’s on a mission to make sure you have a great experience. My surgery results were wonderful as well and Dr. Rendon went above and beyond in that area as well doing more work than he was required to do. I would highly recommend South Bay Plastic Surgeons.

When I first came in for my consultation with Dr. Rendon, I was a ball of nerves. Knowing I needed a hysterectomy, I felt this would be the best time to undergo that "Mommy Makeover" I had always dreamed about. And while I had a strong desire to reclaim my vitality and feel good again, I was worried that I might be letting vanity influence my health decisions. Thanks to Dr. Rendon's incredible skill, the results are simply amazing and know I made the right choice. I finally feel comfortable in my body again and no longer want to shrink away from insecurity. He was a wonderful partner throughout my journey - honest and kind with the exceptional attention to detail you want in a surgeon. I’m truly grateful I chose him. Equally amazing is his staff. Especially my care coordinator, Lupe, who made the entire process seamless. My OBGYN had initially dismissed the idea of combining the two surgeries, saying it would be impossible to coordinate schedules with two surgeons and the hospital. Then I met Lupe. Not only did she make it happen, but she made the entire process so easy on me. She kept me informed every step of the way, navigating various challenges, all while lifting my spirits. Her support truly made a difference in my experience.

Dr. Rendon is highly recommended to anyone considering plastic surgery. I’m 41 years old, I had stage 3 triple negative breast cancer, I had a diep flap reconstruction surgery, and a debridement removal of necrosis. My Diep Flap Reconstruction Surgery and debridement removal of necrotic tissue from a wound procedure was performed by Dr. Rendon. My journey made me have to trust my surgeon and his team. The choice to have the procedure done with Dr. Rendon was a great one considering all factors. Going into my appointment I initially just wanted to gather information about the procedure and his experience with this type of surgery. I was nervous about such a sensitive surgery; however, after leaving my appointment I felt comfortable, informed, and confident about the procedure. Dr. Rendon was compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, mentioned positive qualities, and also the risks involved. The staff's support was amazing, from the front of his office, room nurses/ staff, surgical team, hospital staff, and wound care nurses. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism was something I will always be grateful for. All questions were answered, and all concerns were addressed, which gave me some comfort in such a difficult situation. Given my history I decided on a diep flap reconstruction surgery to avoid getting anything that didn’t belong in my body, such as breast implants. I decided on using my own body tissue, my breast recovered well and even have a natural result. Dr. Rendon did all the necessary pre op tests and scans, no one could have predicted that I would have got necrosis in my abdominal area. The amount of loss and grief I had to endure during this time was unbelievable. However, every time I had an appointment with Dr. Rendon, he made sure to be very transparent with me and continued the conversation with confidence and encouragement. That type of response made me feel like I can trust him. I followed his advice and instructions on how to heal. Although I am still in my long healing journey, I feel like I am one step closer to recovering from this procedure. I recommend Dr. Rendon, his office staff, and his incredible support team. They have been very helpful, kind, and I appreciate them for providing such exceptional care.
