Dr. Bunyan and his medical assistant, Jennifer, were a phenomenal team to work with. I appreciate their professionalism and dedication to patient care. I recommend them for any kind of medical procedure that may require surgery!

I am thankful that this surgical group had a surgeon that was available and willing to help me with my emergency surgery. Dr. Przybyla, in my opinion, is an excellent surgeon. He took very good care of me. I will highly recommend him and his group.

Dr Przybyla is amazing surgeon with excellent bedside manners. He takes the time to listen and explain with great detail. He also is very good at answering any questions throughly. Office staff is also very friendly.

I have had almost no pleasant experiences dealing with this facility. Nobody ever has any answers, they always want to redirect you to someone else. The first time I was seen, the doctor poked me in the stomach, told me I have a hernia that I already knew I had, said let’s schedule surgery And charge me $200 for the visit. I was later told that I have three hernias, will need a much more extensive surgery, and all this information was received for basically free, the cost of an ultrasound, and a FaceTime conversation with a different doctor that I was charged nothing for. I do not recommend using this facility if you like feeling like your doctor actually cares about you.

My experience with this practice has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish. After waiting 3.5 weeks for an appointment, I was contacted just two hours before the scheduled time and told that my insurance was out-of-network and my referral was not approved. I immediately contacted my insurance provider, who confirmed that this was not the case. When I called the office back, I was dismissed and told to contact the billing department, as it was “not their problem.” This lack of accountability and disregard for patient care is unacceptable. Despite all of this, I chose to proceed with the scheduled procedure because I felt comfortable with Dr. Fields. However, I was then informed six days before the procedure that I would be charged over $200 out-of-pocket, with no prior notice and no claim ever submitted to my insurance. In my 20 years of active military service, I have never had to pay a fee for covered medical services—this was the first time I’ve ever been told otherwise. The front desk and billing staff at this practice are disorganized, dismissive, and lack even basic customer service skills. The experience was more akin to dealing with fast food than a professional medical practice. I will absolutely be seeking care elsewhere and strongly advise others to do the same.
