United Surgery Center – Temecula

Dr. Shafii was great from start to end of my procedure. Nurses Melissa, Sharon and many others were great. Front desk person was a bit cold in her customer experience. Chalk it up to early morning but still expect better.

Had such an amazing team that were warm, reassuring and not only kind to me but to one another which creates such a safe space feeling. Very happy with the level of care and kindness I received.

Great doctor, great surgery center. But..... Somebody needs to learn how to schedule. I was told to be there at 9:45 and I was. I waited in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours before being called back. If I hadn't endured the prep, I would have left. I know they knew it was going to be an issue because 2 days prior they cancelled my son's office visit for later that day with Dr. A. stating she would be in procedures all day. I was so stressed out because I had told my ride the 2 1/2 hours that was on the paper work. He needed to go to work. Everybody's time is valuable and you all need to respect that.

The doctor is great, but put 4 phone calls into the office regarding a new prescription the Dr ordered for me. It's been almost two weeks and they still have not called back.

This office has ongoing communication and scheduling problems. Appointment times are frequently changed due to double-scheduling more patients, often with little or no notice. Every appointment has involved waiting at least 55 minutes, even when arriving on time. The front office staff is rude, indifferent, and unhelpful, and no one returns calls or answers the phone, which makes it extremely frustrating to get even basic questions resolved. Because of this ongoing lack of communication and respect for patients’ time, I will not be returning to this practice. On a positive note, the doctor and nurses generally seem to care about their patients and provide good care once you’re finally seen. Unfortunately, the poor scheduling and front-desk experience completely overshadow that.
