I had a phenol face peel by Dr Oneil and the results are spectacular. My skin and face look so young I am always mistaken for a much younger woman. The procedure went smoothly and was virtually painless The doctor was so accommodating as well as his staff. I would not hesitate to do it all over again and highly recommend it

I am an outdoor person. Since I was born I spent most of my time enjoying the outdoors. As a result, I developed lots of sun spots and wrinkles on my face and arms. In the mid '90s I was considering a chemical peel until I read an article in Vogue magazine (July '95) written by editor Amy Asley. The article describes an almost nightmarish experience by Mrs. S. R. with a chemical peel. I was in tears when I learned what a hellish experience this poor lady went through. I knew there was no way I could handle an ordeal like that because I cannot take pain killers of any kind. I put the idea of a peel out of my mind and hoped to find some other alternative. One day, through a friend, I met a nice gentleman with beautiful skin who was kind enough to tell me about Dr. Kelly O'Neil's "Skin Rejuvenation Center." He had the procedure and afterwards experienced NO PAIN and NO DISCOMFORT. I immediately phoned for an appointment with Dr. O'Neil, took the first appointment he had and rushed over to see him. I told him how sensitive I am, allergic to all chemicals and medications - and then mentioned the Vogue magazine article to let him know how scared I was. He gently explained his procedures and also gave me a video tape to take home for review. I could hardly wait to rush home and look at the video while there were still many questions and doubts in my mind. I was so impressed with the video that the following day I phoned and tried to get the first available opening he had. In April '97 I went to the O'Neil Clinic. During the recovery period, I stayed 10 days at his Retreat and was taken care of 24 hours a day by nurses aides like every other patient in the retreat. Everyone was handled with love, respect, and understanding. I cannot speak highly enough regarding the skill of Dr. O'Neil and the royal treatment patients receive while recovering at the Retreat. Mrs. O'Neil even made the effort to search for and locate the organic juices I specially requested. Amazingly, the whole procedure was an absolute painless experience! I felt like I was vacationing at a nice resort. After 5 days the mask was removed from my face. WOW!! When I looked in the mirror I could not believe my eyes - seeing such a magical change on my face. Now, almost 18 years later, I am back at the O'Neil Clinic again. The past 10 years have been a very rough time for me. I had many falls, hurt myself, had broken bones, developed arthritis and osteoporosis. In short, I was living a very, very painful life every day. This made me look horrible and old and ugly and with harsh lines. I could not stand to look at myself in the mirror and I told my boyfriend: "Let's go to the O'Neil Clinic again." So here I am back at the Clinic 18 years later - getting the same wonderful treatment again! What I saw in the scrapbook of his patients' "before and after" his treatment photos would amaze anyone. The way people were transformed from very unappealing to a brand new person in a beautiful way is truly remarkable. Dr. O'Neil is an incredible, incredible talented individual and his expertise is unbelievable. In my opinion (and I searched extensively trying to find the right person) no one can hold a candle next to Dr O'Neil's talent. He is absolutely the most wonderful, great doctor anyone can hope for. He is definitely the best of the best and has certainly worked miracles for me and my appearance. There have been some changes in the Clinic since my first visit. There is no longer the Retreat for patient recovery - other options are made available for aftercare. Also, medical techniques have advanced so that now only 5 days of aftercare are needed rather than 10. My last treatment turned out beautifully! Dr. O'Neil also made final lazer touch-ups on my neck to improve the last imperfections. I cannot find words high enough to express my appreciation and admiration for Dr. O'Neil's skill and art.
