Surgeons are amazing, front desk team 10/10 but the person who was in charge of scheduling my second surgery was so rude she laughed at me on the phone! I understand things take time, but it was so rude. I still would recommend usf for surgeries, care was excellent every time.

Trying to make an appointment for consultation for skin removal of my arms as a post gastric patient having derm issues with my skin. To be told unable to schedule as cosmetic need to discuss with a financial specialist I understand it is a role of the dice if an insurance will pay for it, but I find it shameful that you won’t even schedule the consultation to gather the documentation to submit it to an insurance for approval or denial. The consultation is covered by insurance, you will get your co-pay you will get your contracted rate from the insurance . Can’t do step one without presenting to the insurance to see what their review / decision would be. 20 years medical billing I know the steps as well as few years ago working with a doctor in New York submitting the documentation of issues not only got my tummy tuck covered, but I also had a thigh tuck covered by insurance. Again Shame on you for not even scheduling a consultation. Apparently, by who answered the phone, your system blocks it.

Front desk staff are incredibly rude and incompetent. I was seen by a tall female with glasses and she seemed like she didn't want to be there. She then canceled my appointment after speaking with a short female with bangs. Both employees were incredibly rude and dismissive after I was assaulted and needed help. I will be filing complaints with HHS for Dr Troy and his gaggle of geese

If I could give zero stars I would. This is now the 2nd time I have been treated less than by this facility.. they claimed they will send the info to my insurance for verification for a procedure. Well this time I contacted my insurance company only to discover THEY NEVER SUBMITTED ANYTHING to my insurance company. I worked closely with a nurse who made sure everything would be in order and explained to me what needed to be done. I did exactly what was instructed and the Dr. Harrington told me he could definitely help me. AFTER I began questioning why after 4 weeks they had me waiting and hadn't contacted my insurance who approved a referral and were aware ...Nurse Vanessa tells me I do not qualify for my procedure, nor will anyone explain why. So now since I asked questions about why I was lied to and told I was simply waiting for insurance approval ..I dont qualify. I believe this is racially motivated mistreatment and classism. They wont even submit my information and allow INSURANCE to allow or deny the procedure. THEY are denying it themselves.

In Dec I called because I have a stage 2 pressure sore. My appt was 2/14/24 Today Laticia Williams from scheduling calls to reschedule my appt, the fist available appt is Aug 10th, over 6 months away! It will be a full blown stage 4 sore by then. Mrs Williams was not concerned, and could frankly care less. She offered no options, take it or leave it! Horrible attitude
