UW Medicine Burn and Plastic Surgery Clinics at Harborview

It was a little confusing to get the the Harborview Burn and Plastic Surgery office on 8th floor they are on the East wing but most of the entrances are closed. Tip: there are two entrances Emergency in front of the building or around back. I chosen the Emergency entrance. Once in go straight take a right for the elevators and go to eight floor. I met Maddie Nurse. She was very gentle and friendly. She didn't rush me and answered all my questions. she is just lovely. She made my visit very pleasant. Dr. Morrison is very friendly, through , and skillful. I highly recommend him and his team!

The staff at the UW Burn and Plastic Surgery Clinic are absolutely exceptional. They not only successfully completed a very serious surgery for me but also treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy throughout the entire process. I have nothing but kind things to say about the doctors and admire their expertise, efficiency, and public service. Thank you!

Dr. Ettinger is exceptional. I have PTSD from being misdiagnosed with lupus and bilateral menieres disease. I was actually suffering from complications due to prescription polypharmacy that resulted in misdiagnoses, and treatments for diseases and disorders I don't have in the absence of the medications. I figured all this out after Dr. Ettinger fixed my face in 2020. I had a kickboxing injury that resulted in my right cheekbone being kicked in and I denied surgery having no idea how bad it was. He called me personally to suggest the surgery and thank God he did because it was absolutely necessary. He was so kind and his work was/is spectacular. You can't tell I had surgery on my face at all and I have three plates in it. He treated me with dignity and respect and I'll always appreciate him and the staff there. Because I have PTSD from years of medical trauma, I have to force myself to go to the doctor for check ups; so, I think of a couple doctors to remind myself that doctors can be safe. One of those doctors is Dr. Ettinger. Thank you Dr. Ettinger.

Be careful what you tell a Doctor……. everything will be used against you. She does not care for her patients like she think she does. Her office definitely lied to me and it’s on record and recorded lines. She is a very powerful well known doctor I would be absolutely afraid of her. She has a lot of power! Save yourself and go elsewhere! Oh last thing if your insurance Denies anything she will not appeal for you. You left stuck stranded like us poor people have money laying around to be able to pay for surgery. Wouldn’t you want a doctor that will at least try, like I said she’s powerful whatever she says goes and there’s nothing you could do save yourself. I’m so scared I’ll be retaliated against giving this review! I’m telling you power and abuse!
