University Park Dermatology

My wife and I went to University Park Dermatology because they took over our former dermatologist's office. We did not know what to expect with the new office/Doctor. But we both were so satisfied with both Dr. Cohen and the staff. They were just great! Changing Doctors is not easy, but after meeting Dr. Cohen, we are totally satisfied!

I had to get my first biopsy done and with a fear of needles this felt impossible. Dr. Heidi and her team walked me through the entire process at my own pace and within minutes I was done. I am so grateful for there comfort, encouragement, and patience during this procedure.

Beautiful lobby and exam rooms. Front desk warm and friendly. Surgical nurses and technicians kind, calm, comforting, and well trained. Atmosphere professional, busy, and flows well. I highly recommend this doctor and his office,

The ladies up front were friendly and very beautiful. Dr Cohen was straight up no BS well versed very attentive. You got skin issues you go and see Dr Cohen. BOOM 💥

My prior dermatologist retired and their practice was taken over by University Park Dermatology & Medical Spa. During the “transition” On THREE separate occasions I spoke with the new practice / provider -University Park Dermatology & Medical Spa in advance to an upcoming appointment. During the conversations I clarified the scheduled date and time and they also reviewed and confirmed my current health insurance. On the DAY OF my appointment, I leave work 1.5 hours early to arrive for my scheduled appointment. I give my name and date of birth. After ten minutes they tell me they don’t see my name on the schedule but MORE IMPORTANTLY that they do NOT participate with my health insurance!!! To my complete surprise and anger this is happening at the arrival for my appointment, there are THREE staff members behind the desk- TWO of which are busy texting on their cell and phones! In the WEEK+ prior to my appointment and after more than TWO conversations NO ONE there cared enough to take the time to advise me of this information?! Their response verbatim was “I’m sorry, I don’t know what to tell ya? We can recommend one of our other doctors at another location” NO THANK YOU! If this is the first impression and how the on-boarding process is for patients I would NEVER trust the office staff to follow-through or give correct information (or any information for that matter). Furthermore, I can only imagine the physicians and other staff if they have confidence hiring those type of employees! Short and concise answer. I would NOT recommend if you place value on your health and wellbeing.
