I always have an excellent experience with Dr. Frucht. He takes time to listen to my concerns, asks detailed questions about my skin issues, and explains all the options of treatment thoroughly. The clinic is clean, modern, and the front desk staff are welcoming and efficient. What really stands out is Dr Frucht's patience and how he makes his patients feel at ease, I never feel rushed, and the doctor answers all my questions with care and clarity. I highly recommend Dr. Frucht to anyone looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable dermatologist.

I have been going to the Santa Barbara Skin care for years. They treated me so poorly today that I am compelled to write this negative review. I was late 13 minutes for my appointment this mng as there was an unexpected issue with the freeway US 101 north. The freeway was chocked! 40 mnts for 12 miles drive. I called the office and said I would be late, google maps estimated 5 mnts delay. By the time I parked and got to the office I was told that my appointment was canceled! Very upsetting. They could have called me back to let me know.It turns out that no matter how much money they charge your insurance for the visits you are only given a window of "15 mnts" for the visit and I had burned 13 minutes out with my delay.Ah! About when us, as patients, have to wait in the office to be visited? We can't complain. Just accept it. I also needed a refill for prescriptions, I was no entitled to get them without the Physician visit. The prescriptions had expired.! I won't go back, They have no empathy! It's just business for them.

We drove from west lake village to his office for 2 hours ! When we left our gps showed we had an hour drive but as we get closer the time prolonged as the traffic gets bad by the way we were in 2 miles from his office and as courtesy I called to let them know we are 10 minutes late, and the answer was sorry he can’t accept us if wasn’t we have to come back agin tomorrow!!! If the doctor doesn’t care about his patients and hasn’t have enough decency to accept his patients who drive 2 hours to come to be seen by him, why should you bother myself again to go there! It shows he just working for money and I would not go to see him, there is lots of doctors around with better bedside manner and care.

This was the fastest consult I have ever had with a dermatologist, I have history of skin cancer in the family, my father died of skin cancer. I have to do an yearly check and had different doctors, moved to SB recently and so far this was the worse experience I ever had. This doctor did not even touch my skin, even with gloves. You wanna see a doctor who won't even shake your hand? You go see this one, I went to shake his hand and he raised his hands and told me he won't shake hands. You want a doctor who you are paying for a consultation and he takes less than 10 minutes to examine you? go see him. You have some questions to ask but feel like everything is rushed and you feel like you are burden if you are asking questions... go see this doctor, he will be perfect for you
