After having a child in addition to weight loss, I was left with substantial extra saggy skin on my abdomen and my breasts were drooping from volume loss. I was referred to Dr. Berkowitz by another physician who said Dr. Berkowitz is to whom they would entrust their family. From the moment I called for my surgical consult appointment date, Dr. Berkowitz' surgical & office support team were all so kind, professional & very knowledgeable. I especially would like to thank his scheduling coordinator Marijane. From beginning to end, Marijane was always there for me to make things happen and answer questions. His assistant Jenna gave superior pre-op instructions. Dr. Berkowitz is very kind and listens attentively to every concern you may have. Dr. Berkowitz discussed with me in-depth his surgical recommendations. He recommended an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and transferring some of the excess fat to my deflated breasts. Dr. Berkowitz is superior at what he does; he has decades of experience. Unlike the other surgeons with whom I consulted in the Bay area, he is able to do my surgical procedure without needing surgical drains or a urinary catheter that seems to be common practice. He was also sensitive to my preference to avoid a general anesthetic. My surgery and recovery was and continues to be incredibly successful. For pain management I was given an epidural anesthetic with nerve blocks expertly administered by Dr. Robinson my anesthesiologist. She sedated me throughout the procedure so that I was unaware of the transformation taking place below the drapes, No drains, no catheter which demonstrates how Dr. Berkowitz is such an expert in plastic surgery. He goes above & beyond. My post-op care instructions were easy to follow. (side-roll, drink water and walk, walk walk). In less than 6 months I am thrilled with my surgical result. My amazing result is all thanks & praise to Dr. Berkowitz. "Look how great I feel" is something I often proclaim. And, wow do I mean it!!!

My son played water polo throughout his childhood. Two broken noses and one high school graduation later, we decided to do something about his crooked, bumpy and internally mangled nose. Another surgeon I trust recommended Dr. Berkowitz as it was a very complicated surgery. After an hour-plus consultation, immensely detailed sketches and explantation of what he would recommend, my son and I were both totally committed to Dr. Berkowitz. He totally understood my son’s needs and was quick to say the new nose would remain masculine-looking but straight and with no bump. He was amazing. And his surgical and office staff could not have been nicer. The surgery was long and painstaking. The results are utterly astonishing. He has a completely straight, bump-free nose that fits his face beautifully. No one would ever know he had surgery, it just looks like my son has a perfect nose. Dr. Berkowitz is an artist as well as a surgeon. We are now nine months out and truly could not be happier with the surgery. And not only is he a fantastic surgeon, he is an even better person. In every interaction both my son and I felt heard and appreciated by Dr. Berkowitz. His warmth, caring, kindness and skill are just amazing. He is someone with whom I could entrust my son without reservation and he delivered beyond our fondest hopes. I have had several procedures with Dr. Berkowitz with outstanding results. He has performed a Lower Blepharoplasty, Breast Lift, Earlobe Repair and Revision Rhinoplasty that was an extremely complicated case. I hope to help as many people as I can from my own personal experiences. There are far too many Dr.'s performing plastic surgery that shouldn't take on cases that they are not qualified or confident that they can complete successfully. Dr. Berkowitz is honest and has integrity. He has a reputation for his expertise and perfection in his work. He is a perfectionist and he puts his heart and sole in every surgery he performs. I have many family members and friends that have had extraordinary results and share the same thoughts regarding his genuine care to give you the best result possible. I can't express enough that an Honest Dr. such as Dr. Berkowitz has his patients best interest at heart. Your face and body is worth paying for perfection and I urge people to not make a decision based on price. If you have to delay surgery to save the money it takes for quality work please , please do that. I can't say enough about him and his staff. I'm not one to leave reviews, but in the case of Dr. Berkowitz I must share my experience. Without going into great detail I went to Dr. B for an unknown growth I have after rhinoplasty 21 years ago. All my other specialists were baffled, Dr. B. went in to a very tricky place to surgically obtain a biopsy. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to do so since there was so many nerves around this area. Long and short of it is, this growth is still a mystery; however, Dr. Berkowitz has never given up on my situation. It has been years dealing with this. Dr. Berkowitz is so much more than an unbelievable surgeon, he's a caring, ethical man who I trust implicitly.
