I understand in a moment of a health concern there’s heightened emotions. However I had a good experience at the ER when I went ON Christmas Day, took my vitals/blood quickly (all came back okay), then took me back to the rooms, yes I waited about 3 hours while seeing a nurse & doing a CT. Finding out I had appendicitis & they started me on IV and pain meds right away. Took me in for the night with surgery in the morning. Nurses, surgeon, anesthesiologist were all attentive and great.

My wife was treated for bloodclots in one of her legs. The procedure was successful and we were treated well by all the staff, but one exceptional shining star was Dr. Fatima Charara. She took the time to address all of our concerns and dropped by several times to check in on us. Each and every time her bedside manner was exceptional and she displayed a genuine concern for our welfare.

I go here regularly for testing and it's always clean and bright. The staff are courteous, friendly, and more often than not, cheerful. I can't speak to the emergency room experience, but the lab and other testing departments are great.

Honestly I was with these people that gave 1 star. I absolutely thought I’d die there before being treated properly, but this last time was mostly different. I went in with excruciating pain in the left shoulder, arm, chest, and scapular. They didn’t take much time to take care of me. However, the ER nurse treated me like a drug seaker which was very sad for me. That was until my MRI with contrast came back and then they had to decide to keep me or send me to Boston. They decided to keep me, and from then on I was treated great. My nurses on Phippen 7 were great, my aid Luz was great, Jade Marie from transport was great. My surgeons and doctors were great. All in all they restored my faith in this hospital.

Worst hospital, id rather let someone die than go there. I have my disabled mother there and she's been completely mistreated. The nurses refused to assist her with showering, any basic needs until i was calling the hospital on behalf of her due to them ignoring every request from her which they still didn't do. They left her there with no toothbrush, hygiene products nothing. Just laying in filth because none of the staff would assist her regardless how much she asked and the most they did was give her a "wipe down" after 5 days of calling asking if she had one which they stated each time "she is scheduled" or "yes we will give her one tomorrow morning". They have shower chairs/stools for disabled people and or patients that are unstable so it makes no sense in why she would have not been able to be assisted.
