VCU Health Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Daniel Hawkins. I had a bad reaction and they saw me right away and Dr. Hawkins was super sweet and helpful as well as the staff. The front desk is always nice and they’re considerate and helpful. After this, I had my botched facial filler (done by another doctor) dissolved by Dr. Hawkins and he was the best. Him and his assistants were so attentive and sweet he saw me for a follow up and made sure I was good. I would go to him over any injector in Richmond. He is the best. Staff is great. They deserve better reviews.

Dr.Mountziaris has been phenomenal! She has been helping me through my Masectomy reconstruction process and from the first consultation she’s been great. From her (and her staff) bedside manner, to knowledge and techniques she’s made this not as scary as I thought it would be.

I was referred to Dr. DeJesus for reconstructive surgery for HS, and this appointment was an absolute disgrace. After waiting more than a month, driving 1.5 hours, missing work, paying a specialist copay, and then sitting in an exam room for an hour, he finally walked in only to tell me, “I don’t do those types of surgeries.” This is something he should have known the moment he received my referral. Instead, he allowed me to waste my time, money, and energy on an appointment he knew or should have known was pointless. To make matters worse, he then asked if I had used ChatGPT to look up a diet for my “disease,” which was not only unprofessional but incredibly dismissive and insulting. I walked out of that office furious, defeated, and appalled by the lack of basic respect or accountability. This experience was unacceptable, and I strongly advise others to take their care elsewhere.

False advertising, these people have an add about keloid removal, so I decided to make an appointment with them. It took me 3 months to see a doctor and when I finally visit about my keloid situation, he had to ask other doctors in the building about my keloid like he doesn't know a thing about them. Then he tells me that he gave to find a doctor that can help me and that he will give me a call in a few days. Well he never call me so I decided to call them back. The secretary told me he couldn't help me. So I wasted 3 months of my time and they charge me a 50$ copay for absolutely nothing. No service, No advice and No referral. They didn't even call me back to tell me that they couldn't perform the procedure. They advertise to lure you in for your copay.
