I moved to Maine 3 years ago and was hoping to find a great plastic surgeon and aesthetic provider. I found a winner! Early March I had a tummy tuck and arm lift. The entire process was flawless. My assigned nurse (can't remember her name.. anesthesia..) the anesthesiologist and of course, Doctor.. truly professionals. You'll see some pics from a couple weeks ago..I continue to be so happy with results. Their professionalism is unmatched. I also had quite a few fillers several weeks ago. Extremely happy with my results..I highly recommend.

Fantastic staff both in the office and on the medical staff! I always felt listened to and safe trusting myself to their care. My operation, a breast reduction and lift, went without a hitch and I am healing incredibly well. Nothing but positive things to say about the whole experience! Love you guys.

Dr. Gardenier and the team at Maine Plastic Surgery were excellent throughout my entire experience. I had a breast lift and augmentation in November and am so happy with my results. The process felt smooth, well-organized, and much less stressful than I expected. I always felt comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Maine Plastic Surgery for the last 5 years and there’s a reason why I keep coming back! The team members they have are so wonderful and talented. I get Botox and lip filler multiple times annually and my results are always natural & stunning. I trust my injectors will always do what’s best for me!! I recommend to everyone I meet!

FAIL UPDATE - to all who read my initial review, there was no misunderstanding. This is in response to the comment below from MPS. I did request a phone call from manager through email, no call back. I will reiterate again, the office did not say I was receiving an "average" quote I also gave them the chance to make things right. BEWARE -Get a quote in writing from the MedSpa for your services before you do anything! I was shocked at final price. The Good - Surgery Center: I decided to visit Dr Gardenier for a consultation regarding an eye procedure. He and his assistant Nicki were pleasant, upfront, and very open about the procedure, the risks, and the cost. I was handed a detailed quote about the pricing. It was a very fair price. The whole experience was extremely professional. The Bad - MedSpa: I decided to inquire about fillers, which I had never had before. So, onto the MedSpa. I read about one of the nurses who was highly rated. I walked over to meet her and see if she could accommodate me. She explained that she was busy but could see me the next day. An appointment was scheduled through Jessica, the spa coordinator. She was pleasant and set up the appointment. My husband, a physician in Maine, reminded me to double-check the pricing so there were no surprises. I called when I got home and spoke to Jessica. She told me the appointment fee was between $1500-$4000, depending on the number of fillers. OK, the prices are not posted anywhere in the spa. WHY? When I finished my first appointment, I was horrified that my bill was $8,000! No detailed receipt. I left in shock. I had to go back for a second appointment,vCheri, the nurse, had a plan for me, & I would have had no idea where she left off. I also liked her very much. I specifically asked for my next visit if the price would be much lower than the first visit, and they said yes. I actually asked twice! The second bill came to almost $5000! I was spending more money there than on a surgery with Dr Gardinier. Fillers last 18 - 24 months only! I had to request the detailed receipts. Why? Poor practice and not transparent. Afterwards, when I complained, I was told that the proper procedure was for Jessica to have sat down with me and go over a plan with pricing. Jessica admitted that things did not go as planned, as there was no treatment plan or written price quote. I give her credit for being very professional and understanding that she could have done better as she stated to me. I have this in writing from her. The next step was to email Christina Alves, who is the Director and Practice Manager. She sent me several emails, but never admitted to any wrongdoing (even though Jessica had acknowledged that my experience was a learning experience for her). in an email, Christina sent me odd quotes, which I found strange and unprofessional "As I said in my first email to you, green and growing versus brown and dying" Christina offered me one free filler, which was an insult and I found it hard to believe. I had asked her to call me, but she ignored that request. Throughout all the email exchanges, she seemed oblivious to what the real issue was and refused to admit that there was any problem at all. She kept comparing the spa to other places found in strip malls as examples. Very confusing and unnecessary. I found her to be ignorant and dismissive of the real situation. Her goal was definitely NOT to please the customer, especially one who had just spent 13K on fillers! She didn't grasp the situation as a manager; it was uncomfortable. She continued to say there was no transparency issue at the spa when I mentioned that prices should be public. Most importantly, she never apologized! In the end, I had written a 5-star review for Nurse Cheri, but removed it due to Christina's lack of understanding & handling of my issue. I can not recommend the MedSpa due to poor mgt. Jessica could use a better system for proposals and quotes. In regards to the other review , it was a dup, my error, but it stated the same
