The Surgery Center at Plano Dermatology

I went for MOHS surgery and during my visit I met 6 different people (a receptionist, 3 nurses, and 2 doctors). I was struck by how pleasant and professional everyone I met was. That speaks volumes about how well their staff are cared for and the positive work environment managed has established.

For those who haven't had a skin screening, like me, I strongly suggest getting one! I had a spot on my head that turned out to be melanoma stage 0. Dr. Wells skillfully removed the spot quickly and painless. Amanda made sure I was comfortable and made sure my head didn't move while the Dr was slicing and dicing on my noggin! The entire staff that we interacted with were friendly and caring. Also, if you have to come here, dress warm!!! I was here in August and inside the office felt like you were in Alaska in January!

Dr Wells and his PA were fantastic! They talked me through everything, were very encouraging and did a great job of removing my skin cancer and stitching me up. Five weeks after surgery and just some redness and bumpiness under skin where stitches are still dissolving. I highly recommend them if you need skin cancer surgery.

Had a cancerous tumor removed from my neck. Nurses and doctor could not have been more professional, and pleasant. I highly recommend The Surgery Center at Plano Dermatology!! Free coffee too...

Dr Modi is amazing!!! He has operated on me twice now with beautiful results. My only issue is the front office staff. They are awful. When I arrived I stood there and waited several minutes for the woman to finish a personal phone call with a plumber. Then when checking out I wondered why the price had doubled in 2 years with the same exact insurance. The woman was disgustingly rude. She should not be in this industry. I have never been treated so poorly. In fact I have a follow-up with Dr Modi to see my scar that he said he didn't want to bill me for, but I am going to cancel because I do not want to interact with this woman any time in the near future. But when choosing a surgeon I will definitely go back again.
