We went to visit a friend who had heart surgery. This is the biggest hospital I’ve ever been to (the British hospitals are generally a lot smaller). We spent the majority of the time lost. However the staff working there were wonderful. Without even asking for directions they helped us (probably because we looked pretty gormless!). I am sure the staff are used to guiding the lost! They deserve a medal for everything they do both for the patients, family members and the wanderers.

My wife was admitted for medical treatment and associated tests for 5 days. The attention and treatment she was given probably deserve 6 stars I can only post 5. The facilities are second place to no one. The amount of care and capablities they possess are unbelievable. I can only hope that anyone needing them gets there. I was able to enjoy a few meals with Carol. The food and service also deserves the 6th star. It really cannot be a good thing having to be hospitalized, but they do have the ability to make it as good as it can be.

I spent months waiting for neurology. To see that my diagnosis was already decided before I went there due to them pulling a record from another clinic. I was sent to here on the recommendation that my diagnosis be reconsidered. Instead I was told self refer to mayo by the doctor. Who couldn’t even be bothered to refer me which is needed to see Mayo Clinic. He told me if they don’t help then he will help. This could have been phone call and not caused a waste of time and gas to travel out of state to see. The staff outside of that were nice and the clinic was easy to find. Just wouldn’t recommend going if you are told to reconsider a diagnosis. They won’t reevaluate but use the same records your team told you to get reconfirmed as the conformation itself. You would spend the same time waiting to be told to go to Mayo as it takes to get into Mayo. So just tell your doctor to spend the energy on referral there and not here. Saves both your team time and you money.

Had some teeth removed in 2024. Paid the bill that I was sent in full. Then in January of 2025 I receive a bill for $698. Billed for separate services the hospital charges. The original bill was from May of 2024. Billed over 1 1/2 year after service. Not very happy with this.

I applied for their low income assistance program. And of course, they based my income on a job that I haven’t had for 14 months. They had me give them my W-2 and they had me show my bank account and my paycheck steps. The job I had last year, of course was a really great job, but it was taking a toll on my health. So I resigned from that position, but unfortunately, that was my income last year but this year my employer even tells me every single time I get on my employment app. I’m doing horrible. My employer estimated that I should be at $33,379 for the year I just made it to 25,000 on this last paycheck. I also do receive Social Security but literally my whole entire Social Security check pays the rent. My rent is $1200 and my Social Security check is $1255.. So my work wages, of course, after taxes Is anywhere from 985 to 1000. 275 to 300 goes to work transportation expenses. Then so far if the lights, the gas, my kids school lunch, And then the groceries I sometimes have a couple of hundred dollars left to buy me and my son just random stuff. I do have insurance, but one of my medicines is not covered by insurance. It is a $1300 shot.. And I guess I was hopeful that if I was discipline and showed that I wouldn’t ruin the opportunity of this scholarship, I would get the same scholarship this year. I stayed disciplined. I stayed on track from the moment. I started the shot. I was around 250 pounds as I write this I am nearly 185. I haven’t spoiled nor ruined the privilege of the grant like most people would.. But apparently Nebraska medicine feels that my income from last year or something makes me wealthy as a single parent, and I am unable to afford the shot at the 80 to 20 Offer that they made. I would hate to be a person that has some sort of life-threatening medicine. This would definitely put them in a bad vine.. but I guess if you’re a single parrot and after taxes, your income is around 26 or 2700 and with taxes probably 3500 because they take about almost 400 a check in taxes don’t waste your time Nebraska medicine will let you die so they’re really holding up to that do no harm so if you’re taking a medicine, it is very important and very expensive. It might be a huge waste of time to seek Nebraska medicine’s help disappointed in their new process. Their old process was much more understandable. . And then when you call and you talk to these people, they’re so rude. It must be a job requirement to work at Nebraska medicine. You have to be rude because lately every time I call it’s a rude person.. And then it’s pointless to request a supervisor or a manager, cause you’re told no with a chuckle in your face. So to the person that chuckled on me and told me no, I hope your family member gets a debilitating critical issue and you get the same amount of help. I got yesterday and then you could see.. But this has been a very disappointing experience, a low income program, my foot And I understand there’s criteria but even last year they told me if you make less than 75,000 you’re good well I guess nearly 30,000. That’s wealthy to Nebraska medicine.. So tell you other $30,000 a year earners I guess I’ll see you at the country club. Sam’s Club is what I mean
