Surgery Center of Oklahoma

Our whole experience was excellent. My husband was very satisfied with the care he received. Everyone was very friendly and made my husband feel very comfortable. The procedure was very fast. We were in and out in a few hours. Five stars from us for sure!

We had the best experience we’ve ever had at a doctor’s office when we took our son for his surgery last week. Starting with the lobby, it is so homie with lots of couches and chairs and it feels like you’re sitting in someone’s living room while you’re waiting. The front staff was happy to help us and greeted us with a smile. Then, once we were taken back, we were greeted with smiling faces, kind comments, as if you were just visiting relatives. They explained everything very thoroughly, but also in Layman terms so even our son could understand everything that was going to happen. Everyone that was involved in the surgery, came to speak to us, including the anesthesiologist, nurses and our surgeon. They made sure we were comfortable at all times. We were impressed how efficient they were in time management and Accommodating us to allow us to go out the side door when we left so we could get our son in the car out of the rain. We will tell everyone we know what a great experience we had and if we ever have to have surgery again, this is the place we will want to be. Editing to add that they even called us the next day to check on our son. We were very impressed.

I can't believe I have to give a rating for a surgery center, but this experience was absolutely fantastic. It's very affordable and the staff was very helpful with the appointment and surgery details. I drove from fort Worth for surgery and couldn't be happier with the results. I wish there were more places like this that were affordable for those who aren't insured. This place is a hidden gem in a world -filled with greedy corporations. I can't say enough good things about this place or the staff and its doctors. Thank you!

As an RN myself, the other side of the operating table can be incredibly nerve-wracking, but the team at the Surgery Center of Oklahoma was absolutely phenomenal. From my pre-op nurse, Melissa, to my post-op nurse, Anne, and literally everyone in between, I felt entirely safe, respected, and cared for. I recently underwent an LAVH, and the anesthesia team did a wonderful job ensuring I was both safe and comfortable, keeping my pain perfectly managed throughout the process. My surgeon, Dr. Wesley Vaughan, was incredible. He willingly collaborated with me, listened to my specific needs regarding how my body heals, and made me a true partner in my care. I cannot say enough great things about this facility and its staff. If you want a team that combines high-level clinical excellence with genuine, respectful patient care, this is the place.

Dr. Richards handled the consultation, surgery and recovery for our son, beautifully. We couldn't have asked for better care from him and his team. Thank you so much. We would recommend them to anyone. We will use them if we ever need to in the future. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Jeffrey, was so helpful and took such good care of our son. He and Dr. Richards were very clear on every part of the process. Each nurse that took care of our son did so beautifully as well. Nurses, Angela and Jennifer were two that I remembered, but they were all awesome. Angela called us the day after and Dr. Richards called us personally many times post-surgery. Thank you!
