I used him back in 1988! My job was amazing! He did go through the armpit. Mine were perfect! Perfectly done for my size! Extremely natural! I even had my gynecologist, a very well known & respected one, tell me it I hadn’t told him he wouldn’t have known….that it was the best he’d ever seen! 37 years later, I’m contacting him to have them redone…..as time takes its toll & I wouldn’t want to use anyone else!

I had my breast augmentation 4/13/2021. My experience with Dr. Metcalf and his staff was wonderful. The woman at the front walked me back the day of surgery, and she answered all of my questions. Then the woman who administered the anesthesia made me feel completely comfortable even though I was really nervous. Dr. Metcalf was straight to the point, and he did an amazing job. I am so happy with the results thus far! Hopefully the experiences stay at a 5 star rating. Thanks!

Didn't have my implants after driving 4 hours for surgery. So he said it was my lucky day and he would give me the upgrade higher priced implants. So now that I have this air bubble inside bag in my chest that I've tried to get redone with no one guaranteeing his work after he retired .The new doc that took over his practice will not fix them . I'm not happy I'm embarrassed and don't want any man to touch or see them . Maybe should have retired sooner . He's was the only one in 30 years I ever trusted to fix any problem with no questions asked .

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR FOR YOUR BREAST AUGMENTATION! I had my surgery in Oct of 2024. Prior to my surgery we were under the impression that they would be going under the breasts for the incision site. As girls I know who went to Dr Metcalf, said he went under their breasts and not through the armpit. Because of this last minute shock to us I wasn’t able to get the size I wanted but he promised me I would get the look I wanted. We trusted him. The procedure went from being a 45 min standard procedure to a 4 hour procedure. The concoction of meds they used to put me under had me sedated for 4 days post surgery. My left breast looked dead immediately after surgery. One month post op, I still experienced excruciating pain especially in my left breast and noticed a texture change through the skin of my breast, meaning I could feel the ripples of the implant. I called to talk to the nurse and they wouldn’t let me talk to her. They said all calls go through Dr Metcalf. I sent in pictures and explained I’m doing everything by the list of post op instructions and he said there’s nothing wrong them and to trust him. 2 months post op - I still can barely stand to wash my armpits for the still present pain and unable to shave my armpits because of the protruding scar. My left breast is still hurting, and now sitting lower and flatter than my right one and lost the upper volume that my right breast still has. I was experiencing sharp pains and I still can’t stand for anything to touch my left breast. To this day. My left breast now says against my chest and looks like I never had an implant put in at all. 3 months post op, I called again and sent pictures to Dr Metcalf about the significant change in my breasts as my Left breast dropped even lower, and when I lay on my back it slides off to the right. My right breast does not. I called the office upset and they said call the doctor. I called him left a message and texted him. It took him 1 week to get back to me. He belittled my pain that I still have in my left breast that has now moved up and into my left armpit and it’s sharp shooting pain and breathtaking and all he said was my breasts are fine and even. Yet he told me to wear my bra tighter on the left side and looser on the right so maybe my right breast will drop and even up. That told me he saw the “unevenness” in the breasts. This crushes me because my fiance and I can see the huge difference. So I got a second opinion, this other doctor told me from what she saw, Dr Metcalf dug a “pocket” too big for the size implant he put in and there’s no way to fix it unless I put in a mesh or have another surgery and put in a larger implant. The cost of that surgery is minimum $9,800 as it would be considered an implant exchange. Not a Breast Augmentation. A surgery I cannot afford because I spent my allotted saving for this procedure on Dr Metcalf. Almost 5 months in to post op I still cannot tolerate to touch my own left breast, have lost feeling in my nipple and get sharp shooting pains. The implant has dropped even more and when I lay on my back it’s slides off even more to my left side. I got this procedure done to wear my dream dress at our wedding that was supposed to be this April. That’s no longer happening we had to postpone our wedding due to this botch job. Also, I still don’t have even armpits and cannot completely shave my armpits and still have pain at the incision sites in my armpits. Knowing my fears, pains and unsatisfied feelings, I still have yet to get my “follow up” call from anyone in that office. A refund for this would be the only way this would be made right as my body is more embarrassing to me now than before my surgery. And I can’t have my wedding or even buy my dress until I get this fixed properly. This is heartbreaking and I CANNOT recommend this doctor or his office.
