Definitely a top notch facility. All of the staff were wonderful and made my surgical experience great. Nicole and Maura were awesome nurses. Dr. Behery and his team are amazing. Highly recommended.

I’m about 3 weeks post-op after Dr. Craig Della Valle did a hip resurfacing surgery on me at the Rush Oakbrook Surgical Center. The outcome, so far, has been fantastic. I’m from New Mexico, and opted to fly to Chicago to have this procedure done. I am very happy that I did. This facility is incredibly well thought out. The entrance to the surgery center is on the 4th level of the parking garage. The parking is free, covered, and that entire level is patient parking only. We were able to park just a few limps away from the entry door. We were immediately welcomed, and the check-in process was smooth and well-coordinated. They had my insurance information correct, my prior-authorization taken care of, and they even knew the correct amount of my copay. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. We showed up a few minutes before we were supposed to, but they were ready for me before I could settle into my chair in the waiting room. The nurse came out and greeted me, got me changed and prepped for surgery, asked me all the standard medical history questions, and then invited my wife back to be with me while I waited for surgery. The surgical team if doctors stopped by in a one-by-one procession to answer questions and address concerns until it was time to go. I was scheduled for an 11:00 procedure, and I was wheeled into the OR at 10:10. Early! The operation went smoothly, and when I woke up, I was greeted by cheery faces, a sandwich, pretzels, and a gatorade, and given plenty of time to feel my feet again. In what seemed like no time whatsoever, I was walking down the hall, up the practice steps, and back to my area to get dressed and on my way home. I was back at the hotel next-door by 2:30 in the afternoon. After almost 3 weeks, I can say the results have been fantastic, with a quick recovery, and no issues at all. I was very impressed by all of the Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, and staff. They were all kind, professional, compassionate, courteous, and seemed to be happy in their workplace. I would rate the Rush Oakbrook Surgical Center 6 stars, if I could.

My nurses and staff were awesome. Kudos to Becca and Nicole. I felt like a queen well taken care of from the moment I arrived to discharge. I appreciated the friendliness and such care. The center is beautiful and very clean I would return.

I traveled from PA to Chicago to have my back surgery with a renowned spinal Surgeon, Dr. Kern Singh , at this center and it exceeded my expectations. The financial obligations were handled very expertly before my visit and there were no surprises! The interviewing staff member was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. I was taken into the clinical area right on time and introduced to my Nurse, Freddy! ! I very quickly noticed that the facility was immaculate! My nurse was nothing short of a super professional and incredibly skilled - and enthused about his job! This was such a surprise in an age of technology where many in the field do not have clinical plus people skills! After a super thorough Anesthesia consult, I was taken to the most incredible OR I have seen in my nearly 50 years in Medicine! Gleaming white with the very state of the art equipment ! Post op was a great experience with my Nurse as well. It says a lot when you hate to leave ! This is a first class center dedicated to giving care from your arrival to your departure. I have had the misfortune of needing a number of surgeries during my lifetime and although surgery is never fun, they made my experience the very best possible ! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of a procedure .

I couldn’t have imagined a better surgical experience despite the stressors that come with having surgery. The facility is very well-run and everyone, from the front desk to the recovery room team, was so incredibly nice and professional. Both my nurses Olivia and Katelyn were fantastic. Dr Cole is simply amazing, his PA Kyle is top-notch, and the anesthesiology team was great.
