Feeling very thankful for this place. I had a procedure done today and the nurses, anesthesiologist, and Dr. Schwartz took such good care of me. I was so anxious and they were there for me every step of the way. I can’t express how grateful I am for their compassion and care.

It’s strange to be writing a review for a surgical center, because it’s not somewhere I “chose” to go. But the care that I received at Oak Brook Surgical Centre was so fantastic that I felt compelled to leave a note. I won’t lie — I was extremely nervous before my surgery, but right from the start the nurses and care team worked to make me comfortable, to make me smile, and to help me relax before my procedure. A huge huge shout out to Salma and Jennifer — two angels who made my stay feel so comfortable. They treated me with respect, kindness, and a genuine level of care that I have never experienced from any medical staff in the past. I hope the management team know what gems they have in these two wonderful nurses. I don’t know the intended audience for this review, but if you are scheduled for a surgery here please know that you’ll be in great, caring hands.

The nurses, the people at the desk for checking in were absolutely wonderful. Very caring group of people. Thank you all. The anesthesiologist was rude and horrible. Asked me to put my arms up when I couldn't with my right arm due to my last surgery I have a frozen shoulder he told me there is no such thing and im going to have to deal with that they will be putting my arms up anyhow and that the doctor didn't know what he was talking about. This man works with patients he needs to have more respect or don't be working in that field. Myself and doctor deserves an apology.

In what universe is someone charged over $600,000 (yes you heard that correctly 600 K) for an ACDF surgery? My C5 - C7 ACDF that was considered successful and “uncomplicated” costed over 600k whereas the national average is around 60k, 10% that amount. Make this make ANY sense.
