The Mount Sinai Hospital

Was never seen by any Doctors at Mount Sinai plastic surgery.

I was told the areas of a progressing disease being removed was a cosmetic issue & that my scars would be worse than active tunneling/ cysts. I was instructed to return “if it worsens”. While I’m at stage 3. Not sure why plastic surgery would be declined when this is supposedly their speciality.

A procedure with detrimental results after a consent violation. Gross misrepresentation of ability and intention on the doctor's end. Patient rights, esp. the right of women to make decisions for their bodies, were not honored. The staff provided often inaccurate information and ignored with unusual ease patient communications. As a clinical myself, I am deeply concerned about the professional standards and capricious behaviors of this practice that are not suited for the medical profession. This practice seems like a bizarre isolated anomaly in sharp contrast to the plethora of other hospital-affiliated, skilled and ethical surgery practices NYC has to offer.

worst customer service I ever experience.calling for 4 days to make sure i had an appointment, then being told they were going to call me back the next day WHICH NEVER HAPPENED. I call the day of my appointment, i got transferred 6 times back and fourth and kept being told to call this number for an "appointment " i had. after being transferred 6 times and given 3 different numbers they never even had me in the system! now i'm late to my class and missed a whole shift at work. thanks mount sinai
