**Excellence is standard** I am an average 40 something, mom of three, and nurse with hospital surgical experience. I took a leap toward self care and ended up consulting with Dr. Charvet about getting a mommy makeover. My first impressions were all positive. I loved his office, it smelled good and was spotless. Every member of his staff that I came into contact with was friendly and accommodating. Dr. Charvet took his time with me and explained everything in simple terms as well as referencing medical journals on best practices (which eased my RN side). I felt very comfortable to discuss my biggest insecurity - my body. My body that has is 49 years old, birthed three children, worked out on thousands of occasions and still let me down on appearance. After paying for 4 consults with 4 different recommended, well-known plastic surgeons in the greater New Orleans area, I kept coming back to Dr. Charvet. He worked with my husband and I and planned every step of my procedure, very concierge- like. He gave us his direct phone number. I had a complete mommy makeover mid January 2026. This included a breast lift and augmentation, tummy tuck with major muscle repair, liposuction 360, fat grafting to the breast and buttock and lastly another procedure on the buttock and thigh to minimize fat dimpling. Yes! I know that is a mouthful! A few days before my surgery the nurse anesthetist called and we reviewed the process for anesthesia. Dr. Charvet has his own, in-office surgical suit. The day of the surgery, that same CRNA greeting me with the friendliest smile and made me feel at ease. She is very talented. Her pain relieving techniques were exquisite and I am so glad she was on my surgical team! My recovery went smoothly and I am now about 5 months out. I have had at least three post surgical visits which is very standard at Dr. Charvet's office. Each time my husband and I arrive we are warmly greeted by the staff and now feel like part of the family. Dr. Charvet and his team have gone out of their way to ensure my husband and I are happy with the results. Thanks to Dr. Charvet & team, I have gone from a-line dress to fitted, fabulous and sexy dress. I have gone from bathing suit dress to bikini wearing momma. (This has caused the teenagers some embarrassment but who cares). I have gone from no one notices me as I walk into the room to everyone turns to look. I am loving this newly found confidence that Magnolia Plastic Surgery has helped me achieve! It is the body I always knew was there somewhere… Bottom line: I highly recommend them.
