Dr. Christopher Thompson

Long overdue review. Best ENT in OC. Doesn't sugar coat anything. Direct and honest. He truly wants the best for every single patient he cares for. After seeing two previous ENTs for my child, he FINALLY helped us! Forever grateful for his passion and care.

Dr Thompson is a skilled professional who communicates well and is thorough. He discovered that I needed sinus surgery and scheduled it as quickly as possible avoiding a potential significant infection. It was successful and his follow up care was excellent. I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Thompson has been a great ENT. He is knowledgeable, composed, provides clear advice, and sets the patient's expectations. I had a good experience with Dr. Thompson as my ENT surgeon and would recommend him to others.

Dr. Thompson is thorough, kind, and conservative in his treatment plan. I was referred by another respected physician in the area and immediately knew why. Dr. Thompson spends ample time during an appointment and makes sure your questions are answered before leaving...not a truth of most doctors nowadays. I'm grateful to have found him.

This isn't a review so much for Dr. Thompson as it is the practice, The support staff for this practice is absolutely inept, and completely incompetent. I've made appointments then showed up and they have no record of my appointment, I made an appointment for my daughter when she was 12 and when we showed up they said oh wait the doctor doesn't see anyone under 13 ... My husband had tests done after a very serious accident after which he developed an infection which they didn't tell us about for more than 3 weeks, he ended up having to go to his primary to get a prescription. Medications or tests are prescribed during the visit and never seem to make it to the pharmacy, or the lab, I have to call and chase down every test, every lab, and every prescription multiple times, this last time I had to call several times and after three trips to the pharmacy I actually ended up calling the clinical staff leaving a curt message for Dr. Thompson's nurse this time, which amazingly I finally I actually got a call back, and 7 days after my husband's visit, his prescription was finally called into the pharmacy. This is absolutely ridiculous, I have dealt with so many doctors and different practices and I have never come across such incompetence, they might be great doctors but it doesn't really matter because getting an appointment, or your test scheduled or getting your results or even being able to pick up your prescription is an odyssey ... Just absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.
