Daniel Dicesare, MD

I've been seeing Dr DiCesare for a few years now and he takes great care of me. I was referred by a friend and I, in turn, have referred people to him. Recently he moved offices and I have to admit that I'm unhappy with his new front desk person who is is sullen and unhelpful; the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful.

After 18+ years of doctors appointments and misdiagnosis by other doctors, I spent 10 minutes with Dr. DiCesare 6 years ago and his expert assessment changed my life! I was able to properly manage my condition. This allowed me to start running half marathons and enjoy other outdoor activities with my family. I relocated out of state a couple of years ago but fly in so I can continue to see him. Thank you Dr. DiCesare!

Dr. Dicesare and his staff are professional and friendly. Every visit that I’ve had, he has addressed all of my concerns thoroughly. I would absolutely recommend Orange Coast Dermatology to anyone looking for a dermatologist.

He is a good dermatologist but the wait time, rescheduling issues, and billing are problematic at best. For example, It takes 3-6 weeks for an appointment. I have waited over 30 minutes to see the doctor, but when I arrived 15 minutes late, I was told that I cannot see the doctor and have to reschedule (another 3-6 weeks) even though there was noone in the waiting room. My last visit billed my PPO insurance plan so much that I paid a few hundred dollars extra after a 10 minute visit even though I was told nothing about it during the exam. I felt so unwelcome that I just walked out last time.

That Quack wrote a bill for almost $200 to LOOK at an acne problem on my back, got there on time and waited almost 45 min in his room for him to take just a minute and a half and tell me to try some over the counter topical cream, the cream didn't work. I paid a $30 copay up front witch was the total about as per the insurance card and a year and a half later he tried to bill an additional $10 to saying they got the copay wrong, I said don't call me back and she replied with attitude "That's fine we'll just send it to collections." His bill of $200 for about 2 minutes of work ($6000/hour) is completely unethical . Would NEVER recommend his office.
