It's been nearly 4 years since Dr. Sillah performed my breast reduced after my cancer lumpectomy. Both breasts are scarred and deformed. One nipple is gray; the other is pink. The scar tissue on one side has been a constant source of pain and often becomes so inflamed it interferes with daily activities. The surgeon I had lined up became unavailable and I accepted her because the Covid epidemic caused scheduling problems. I should've trusted my gut when she arrived at the hospital late and did her pre-op exam in her coat with no gloves or mask on (no idea if or where she washed her hands). I have huge regrets.

Dr. Sillah and her team completely screwed up my breast reduction surgery back in April. I lost blood for the very day to my chest and instead of referring me to wound care (which I found out later should have been the protocol), they attempted to care for my wounds (big wound needing about 15 inches of gauze backed into both side) for a MONTH until finally I had to say to THEM, should I be seen by wound care professionals? and they said, "yes! That is a great idea!". By the time I made it down to wound care, it had been to long from the surgery date to attempt hyperbaric chambers or anything of that sort. It has been 8 months since my surgery and I am still dealing with wounds, scar tissue the size of golfs balls throughout my chest and my chest looks completely botched. DO NOT GET YOUR BREAST REDUCTION HERE.

I have been waiting over a year for a surgery and they have just canceled my appointment stating that I have to wait another 4 to 5 months for a surgery that is needed. Because the nurse states they will only provide a an excuse for jury duty. If it’s for cancer, just because I don’t have cancer does not mean I’m not in pain. This is the second time that Aurora has shown zero compassion for consideration for their patients. I would never recommend anyone to come here.

Do not waste your money. I paid the $100.00 for a counseltation which lasted about 5 minutes. I brought in something I printed off from the internet so I could discuss the different procedures and she glanced at it, said it wasn't an approved medical site and dismissed the whole thing which was o.k. I just wanted to go over the info and see what they involved. I just want liposuction for my chin and neck and a little skin tuck for the lose skin which will result from the fat being removed. Well it turned into an $11,450.00 which includes a one night stay in the hospital. There are additional costs that I would have to get from the billing department. Like I stated the counseltation lasted about 5 minutes and she was out the door in a flash. I have no idea if I really need a lift with incisions in front of my ears and a few other cuts on my face.
