Dr Charles is patient and very thorough. She takes her time to hear all concerns and provides options for immediate care of future care. She treats me and my daughter and it’s wonderful to have a talented physician who can treat us both!

Sanova Dermo always a pleasant experience. Staff always so kind and Dr Charles always takes time and doesn’t rush the appointments. I get yearly checkups for skin cancer and occasional Botox treatments at metairie Road clinic. I highly highly recommend this Dermatology practice.

3 stars because of one good visit and one bad one with the same doc. I went last year for a routine cancer check and everyone was wonderful, informative, and patient (5 star experience). I had some new skin conditions that sketched me out so I revisited last week and had a less than satisfactory experience. To clarify everyone was very kind and helpful except the doctor. I don’t know if that’s because I was 1 minute late, if I was self pay (long story but the day before I was notified that I was dropped by BCBS), or if it was because the doctor was at work while clearly being sick. Either way, I felt rushed during my visit. I was sassed at least twice by the doctor during our rushed conversation. And they referred me to the hand center for a growth in my *foot*. I will probably go back in the hopes that this visit was just a fluke, but also it’s hard to find a Derm that isn’t solely focused on cosmetics.

I came in for Botox in the same areas that I have been getting it in for years, and there was no affect, I still had full movement of all the treated areas. I called several times to try and get a follow up and explained what had happened- the ladies on the phone seemed to not care and after calling then MANY times over the course of a few weeks, they told me there was nothing they would or could do, and there was no way I could get a refund. Highly recommend if you’d like to get swindled out of $600 for absolutely no results.

I've been unable to connect with an actual person to cancel an upcoming visit and reschedule my appointment. I spent 5-10 minutes talking to a robot that was unable to help me. After being transferred to the actual office and stating that I needed to reschedule my appointment, I was placed on hold. Then, the robot eventually came back on and stated no one was available to help and to leave a message. This is absolutely ridiculous! I WILL NOT pay a "no show" fee if they don't show the cancellation!!!
