I cannot say enough good things about this practice! However, I will try! First of all, I was a patient of Dr. Patrick Coleman in my 20’s and his solid no BS advice honestly started me on a great path of skin care (stopped tanning & started using products that worked, not just the trendy ones). I can’t even begin to calculate the thousands of dollars he probably saved me just by recommending solid inexpensive products. Now, in my late 30s he has everything in his tool belt to keep me looking and feeling my best. And most importantly, he never tries to up sell or make a quick cash grab. He is a true medical professional in a world of cosmetic gimmicks! Also, when I was at my wits end and the pediatrician had me feeling like a crazy “first time mom”, Dr. Coleman listened to and validated my concerns about my 14 month old son’s eczema and acne. Lastly, the front office is a dream to work with as well! Always courteous and responsive. A true rarity and breath of fresh air in the healthcare world today!

Dr. Coleman (the son) has been my kids and I doctor for 15 years now. For my issues and the confidence I have with him dealing with my daughter and son's, the Coleman practice is amazing

I drove from Alabama to see Dr Coleman and I will definitely return. The entire experience was professional and comfortable. He listened to my concerns and offered a plan to help. I have had jaw pain for months and was interested in Botox for pain relief. He was very knowledgeable and compassionate. He did a small amount to see if it would help and it already has! I also had a little lip filler for the first time and I am very pleased with the conservative approach he took. I was also pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t painful at all. Another thing I appreciated about Dr. Coleman was that he did not try to talk me into doing more than I needed. He was honest and helpful about what fillers and Botox can do. I definitely recommend this practice if you need a dermatologist.

I chose this practice based on a recommendation from someone I trusted. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. Fractional CO₂ Laser – July 2025 ($3,000) I paid $3,000 for a fractional CO₂ laser treatment and did not see any noticeable improvement in skin texture or fine lines once healing was complete. Dr. Coleman did not personally perform the procedure. I was told the individual performing it “knew the machine,” and that Dr. Coleman would advise on the settings. This was a single fractional CO₂ treatment—not microneedling, which typically requires multiple sessions—so I expected visible results. After the procedure, I was only given a basic handout about washing/cleansing my face and was not provided detailed aftercare instructions. When I called the next day with concerns, I was told I could send daily photos for monitoring. This option was never mentioned during my visit, and I had not been given an email or contact method. When I asked why this hadn’t been communicated earlier, the staff member responded dismissively (“whatever”), which made me uncomfortable. Once fully healed, I saw no improvement in my skin. I was deeply disappointed. Overall, staff interactions felt rude and unconcerned, and their attitude caused enough anxiety that I dreaded returning to the office. Other Treatments • Botox (2 sessions prior to CO₂): I was not informed how many units were used or the cost per unit. • Dysport – September 2025 (last visit): After this visit, I decided not to return. When paying for Dysport, the receptionist rang it up as Botox. When I corrected her, she said, “It doesn’t matter.” This raised concerns for me about accuracy and attention to detail. Final Thoughts This review reflects my personal experience and results. I’m sharing this because it’s information I would want before choosing a provider. I gave 3 stars because Dr. Coleman himself was friendly and not rude. However, based on my results and the overall experience with staff, my disappointment was significant. Not everyone has $3,000 to spend on skincare treatments. For those of us who do make that kind of investment, it’s because we are truly trying to take care of ourselves and make thoughtful decisions about aging. In my case, spending $3,000 was a significant financial commitment. I trusted that I would see meaningful results, or at the very least feel confident that the treatment was performed with the highest level of care and expertise. To have no noticeable improvement is not just disappointing—it’s genuinely heartbreaking. This is not an amount of money I can easily spend again to try somewhere else, which makes the outcome even more difficult to accept.
