I would like to express gratitude to Doctor Alborz Borjian for exceptional biopsy. As many women described this procedure extremely painful and hard to go through, for me it was very easy. Doctor is super skillful, comforting, caring in his medical performance but also he is a bright individual. He is always on time, I never had a long waiting. The laboratory results posted fast. I had a serious issue and can not be more greatful for the Doctor Alborz Borjian presence at this moment.

WELL I previously left a super negative review because the clinic seemed strict about late arrivals — even a few minutes can lead to rescheduling. However, after my recent first visit, I wanted to share an update I finally had my appointment after about two months, and it was worth the wait. I was seen right on time, and the visit lasted over 40 minutes. The assistant was attentive, and Dr. Tiphany was wonderful!! I felt heard, received helpful recommendations, and will definitely return NOTE: If you are not a native speaker, it’s best to prepare in advance or bring someone to help translate. The clinic follows a tight schedule, so relying on translation apps during the appointment may not work well and they might cancel or reschedule your appointment =======previous review below======= Terrible customer service — or rather, no customer service at all. I had been waiting for my appointment for two weeks, and suddenly, just two days before it, I found out that I was assigned a mandatory class at my college that I’m required to attend. I would still have made it to my appointment, but I might have been about 10 minutes late I called two days in advance, explained the situation, and asked them to please note it, emphasizing that I would do my best to arrive on time. However, I was firmly told that in that case I would need to reschedule, and that even being five minutes late would be a reason to cancel my appointment

I called ahead to let the office know I would be 15 minutes late and when I arrived right at that 15-minute mark, they refused to see me. The front desk staff was rude and disrespectful in how they handled the situation. I rescheduled a new appointment and they cancelled that too. As a patient, I expected basic courtesy and continuity of care, neither was provided. Very disappointed.

Would not recommend. The nurses are rude. They cancelled my NIPT appointment the day before with no effort to reschedule, which set everything back. Finally did it and have called multiple times asking for my results, and doctor Alborz Borjian refuses to release them until my next appointment- by then I’ll be almost 5 months. NIPT tests should be done at 10 weeks. On top of that, Dr Borjian was an hour late to my first appointment, parking is expensive, the facility is dirty, and the water machine is always broken. This is my first pregnancy, and instead of feeling excited and supported, I’ve felt stressed. I would strongly suggest finding a different OB and would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

When I arrived at this clinic suffering from acute pain, the doctor refused to perform an ultrasound. She remarked that I didn't "look like a sick woman" and stated that I would need to submit a formal request to verify whether I was truly in pain. They took samples for lab tests; however, I was unfortunately displeased with the way the medical instruments were left lying exposed in the examination room for several hours, where they were susceptible to bacterial contamination. I was experiencing severe abdominal pain and had no idea what was wrong with me; I had suffered a miscarriage just a few months prior—a fact I specifically mentioned to the doctor. Regrettably, they did not perform an ultrasound and instead sent me home to wait for approval to schedule one—despite the fact that, immediately following my miscarriage, I had been specifically referred to this very clinic. Two weeks later, the approval for the ultrasound finally came through, yet the pain persisted; I then had to wait another two weeks just to get an appointment slot. Once the ultrasound was finally performed, I was told that I wouldn't receive the results for another three days! To my dismay, the clinic then called to inform me that I would have to wait nearly a month just to get back in to see a doctor! When I finally returned for my appointment, I was seen by a different physician—a male doctor named Alborz Borjian. He was a true professional; he helped me and thoroughly explained the underlying cause of my health issues. It turned out that, following my miscarriage, I had suffered a ruptured cyst; the fluid had filled my abdominal cavity and was exerting pressure on my internal organs. This was precisely what I had tried to explain to Dr. Penton, but she had refused to believe me—leaving me with serious doubts regarding her professional competence. I am simply appalled by this entire situation. Furthermore, when they were collecting samples for testing, a nurse assured me that everything was fully covered by my Medi-Cal insurance and that the tests would be free of charge. However, after the samples had already been collected, she returned with a document requiring my signature to acknowledge that the tests might actually incur a fee; she informed me—in a very rude and abrasive manner—that if I refused to sign the document, she would not send the samples to the lab for analysis.
