I was referred to this practice after being injured in an out-of-state accident, and honestly, finding them felt like winning the medical lottery. Before coming here, I had seen surgeons who made me feel more like a chart number than a person. Walking into this office was a completely different experience. From day one, the staff welcomed me like family. Every visit felt less like a doctor’s appointment and more like a pit stop with a team determined to get me back in the race. Between surgeries, therapy, and recovery, they somehow managed to keep me smiling — even on the days when my hand looked like it had lost a fight with a toolbox. I’ve now had several hand surgeries here, and the results have surpassed anything I thought possible. The surgeons are incredibly skilled, and the Occupational Therapy staff deserves a standing ovation of their own. They pushed me, encouraged me, and celebrated every little victory along the way. I truly feel blessed to have found this practice. Thanks to this amazing team, I’ve regained far more function and confidence than I ever expected. If you’re looking for a place that genuinely cares about your recovery and treats you like a person, not a patient number, I strongly recommend them!

My visit to Georgia Hand, Shoulder & Elbow exceeded my expectations. From check in to checkout. I didn’t have to wait long before being called in by Mia who took down my information and my x-rays. She was incredibly kind and efficient. A few minutes after that Dr. Starr was in to explain my x-rays and do a few tests on my shoulder and wrist. He explained the next steps and we decided on PT for a few weeks and another visit to see him in 6 weeks. After that I was taken back to do PT that same day (which was great). Beth was amazing. She explained the exercises to me, gave me a band for PT at home, and sent me my PT plan to follow. Overall, amazing experience. I would highly recommend. I can’t wait to see how my shoulder improves. ⭐️

Dr Starr is great, takes his time with you and explains everything well. This also leads to him getting behind in his appointments and you sit for a bit waiting for him. I prefer to wait a little for a thorough exam than feel rushed and not listened to. Highly recommend him!

Dr. John Dalton was really nice and explained my x-ray to me . Then explained my options and most definitely allowed me to make the decision that felt best to me. The office staff were also very friendly and the environment soothing. I would highly recommend Dr. Dalton and this office based on my experience!

Spent an hour sitting waiting for the doctor to come in to see in. Don't feel like my time or medical care is of any important to this office. Get tired of being treated like me care and important is connected to the size of the insurance claim they can file on my behalf. Many Doctors have forgotten whats important these days, caring for and helping the patients. This visit only confirms your feels of just being a nameless dollar in medical care. Can't say this practice cares about patients
