UofL Physicians – Kleinert Kutz Hand Care

Dr. Cummings did some amazing work. I came in for finger surgery and I was uncertain about the outcome. I was amazed there was no pain, and during the follow up visit I was given exceptional advise for recovery. It has been 4 weeks since surgery and there is absolutely no scar and I have complete function of my finger again. I can't thank Dr. Cummings enough for everything he did and I hope this message reaches him.

I needed to have my surgery done and wanted it done by Dr. Pecache but I wanted it done at another location other than downtown UofL and not at Floyd Hospital. I wish these doctors could do their best to try and get surgeries scheduled where people like me almost 70 years old could drive safely to without getting anxiety from driving downtown Louisville. There are a lot of UofL facilities maybe consider my options for me and other elderly. Thanks

After an IV botched insertion during surgery (had 1 put in by vein specialist in pre-op), had many tests before a large tear in the pad under my outer wrist bones was found by the MRI ordered by this team. PT started and shoulder began to hurt (7 months after surgery), sent to a shoulder specialist (a part of this team) diagnosed a frozen shoulder. She injected it and 24 hours later, I have full movement without having pain. Totally a great team. This is my 5th time with this team. Different doctors but same great service each time. I just wish I had came immediately after the injury, but had to have all kinds of tests before I was referred.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Starting at the front desk, everyone there is pleasant and helpful and makes me feel like they want me to have the best possible experience while getting the medical help I need. They take all the time necessary to answer my questions and address my concerns. Dr Palazzo is particularly good at this. At our first meeting her knowledge and professionalism convinced me to have her perform surgery to address three areas of concern with my hands due to arthritis. The surgery she did last year made a huge difference in alleviating pain and restoring function to my hand so much so that I signed up for more surgery this year. 5 out of 5. I

Office visit was too long over 2 hours. Being in a small room with door shut or open does not go well with patients. Nurses took their time and didn't actually care how long I had been in room. Intern was very nice and examining my cyst took measurements and ordered x-rays.
