Dr. Shapiro is an excellent physician and surgeon. Down to earth, not rushed, invited me to ask any questions, listened carefully, thorough, empathic, explained the specifics of my surgery and put me at ease. In a previous appointment showed me a picture of a recent same surgery - superb meticulous work. This was my 2nd visit before my surgery. He is on call himself for his patients after surgery and follows up carefully. I have complete trust in him and expect the outcome of my surgery will be excellent. I highly recommend him.

I was very nervous on my 1st visit but Dr. Shapiro took the time to really listen to me and my concerns and reply with his honest opinion. He throughly went over options with me, explaining everything. I was not hurried or rushed as some doctors make you feel. I came out of my visit confident in knowing that I had found the right doctor for me.
