This clinic is indeed comprehensive and includes modern skincare services. Jennifer is the esthetician I've seen for facials, and she's delightful--kind, knowledable, perceptive (can tell when I've visted the desert!), and attentive. Whenever I'm getting a facial I think, 'This woman takes pride is what she does,' and that orientation shows in the results for my skin. I am also happy with the collaborative nature of the providers, as others have provided expertise on my skincare needs.

My PCP suggested I see a dermatologist to check out any moles and do a skin cancer screening. One of my best friends went to CDLB and recommended to our group of friends. I checked to confirm CDLB is in my network and made an appointment. Less than a week later, I am in their office and Dr. Beshir is checking every part of my body. "I'll check whatever you allow me to check" when I asked her if I should keep my underwear on. From the top of my head to the bottom of my feet, to my nails and even my smallest little mole and freckle received inspection from this kind doctor. She used medical terms without sounding pretentious, offered medical advice and options but allowed me to decide, and gave me insight into my frequency of visits with her. I never felt rushed one bit, even after the scan was done we discussed our individual experiences living in Chicago. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with each employee from arrival to check-out and highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to get a skin cancer screening. They seem to offer a lot of other services and many people in the waiting room as I left. Bonus points for their gowns being of good quality and size inclusive! The medical assistant who did my intake laid down a covering so I wouldn't have to stand on the floor barefoot. Little details are thoughtful and matter :)

Absolutely terrible experience. Paid out of pocket and was told the doctor can only answer one question per visit. You are now allowed to ask her more than one question. This is after a month of waiting for an appt and 45 mins waiting at the clinic. Do not waste your time here.

Sidenote: Hopefully, this time they’ll actually acknowledge this review, as I’ve noticed their recent reviews have been really bad—with not even a single reply. That alone should tell you what kind of business this is. I have been a loyal customer of this business for over 13 years, even back when they were at their old location. I have purchased a product they call “Triple Action” multiple times without any issues. However, on my most recent visit, I was suddenly told that I now need a prescription and must pay a $250 consultation fee to obtain it. The frustrating part is that I have already purchased this exact same product from them on three separate occasions—without ever being required to have a prescription. When I questioned this, they admitted they had made a mistake, but this wasn’t a one-time error. It happened three different times. If a prescription was always required, why did they repeatedly sell it to me before without one? And if they made the mistake, why am I the one expected to pay for it? To make things worse, they claim they have no record of me as a patient, despite the fact that I have been going there for over 13 years, even receiving facials in the past. They never provided receipts or paperwork for the three times I purchased the cream—just charged my card without documentation. I’ll be pulling up those charges and posting them as proof. When I called to discuss this, Brianna was the one who initially spoke to me. She then passed me on to her manager, who seemed more focused on asserting authority rather than understanding the issue or offering a solution. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they refused to acknowledge any fault. The least they could do is take me in as a client and discount the $250 fee since this issue was caused by their negligence—not mine. At the end of the day, businesses should care about their customers and the future of their relationships. But instead of offering options or making things right, this manager was dismissive and unwilling to help. Someone like that needs to be taught how to actually care for customers instead of shutting them down. This experience has left a bad impression, and I would caution anyone thinking about doing business with them.
