Dr. Suen is world renown for his expertise in my condition. I am exceptionally blessed to be treated by him. At every appointment he takes his time, always looks directly at me and truly listens. He explains in terms that are understandable. Appointments are easily made and the staff is professional. Dr. Suen is an Arkansas native that has treated thousands and thousands of people from all around the world. Dr. Suen has treated me for many years and when he retires it will be a huge loss for medicine.

I have been dealing with hemifacial spasms for 14 years now. I have been to numerous doctors over the years and even had an unsuccessful mvd surgery. After my failed mvd, I was referred to Dr. Suen being that my neurosurgeon has "done all that she can do." He has worked and worked with me to see what he can do to lessen my spasms. After numerous doctors injecting botox all over my face, Dr. Suen has tried to target the muscle and nerve conjunctions in order to stop the spasms. He has had routine follow ups with me to see what is working and not working; a stark contrast to all the others who said "see ya back in 4 months." Dr. Suen is wonderful and very helpful. The best part is, he is willing to try anything he can apart from totally paralyzing my face. I would 10/10 recommend him to anyone.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Suen earlier this week. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge, his no- nonsense manner, and his wonderful bedside manner! ( Unfortunately, I have dealt with MANY, MANY doctors, so I KNOW when I have met a great one!!!) I have great confidence in him!!! ( I also enjoyed meeting his nurse, Sonja! She was professional and extremely pleasant!) It was an encouraging visit for someone who is in constant pain!

My experience at UAMS was wonderful. The staff, nurses, and Dr were all very attentive and thorough. Dr. Suen has wonderful bedside manner and is a great communicator. I was diagnosed with something very rare and he has been a great help with the forward planning of treatment for it.

I was in and out in a timely manner. The staff was great. Dr. Suen answered all my questions about my medical condition and gave me guidance in taking care of my condition. I would recommend this facility and Dr Suen to friends and family.
