Dr Anderson did my thumb arthritis surgery. She's wonderful! I knew from the first time I met her on my first appointment that I have the best! She's very caring, and made sure I knew everything I needed to know about the procedure. When me and my brother arrived the place was pretty full. The lady who got me checked in was very kind & friendly. I'm sorry I forgot her name. The nice young lady who took me back and got my vitals was terrific. I was really concerned about having the IV put into my hand but she did it w/o any pain. I was astounded. That's the first time anyone could do that good. Her name was Jill and she was such a delight. All said this is a 5 star place and has 5 star quality care.. Thank you. I just wished that nerve blocker would last until my hand was fully healed. 😁

I had a big toe fusion and bone spur scraped off just 4 days ago. I was a little apprehensive about this place because I couldn’t find much information on it, and no big signs on the building, other than Women’s Center and UAMS Health Center. But that’s because they haven’t been in there that long from our understanding. After my surgery, all I can say is, that facility and staff are amazing!! You have to push a button and state your name before they will unlock the door for you. The girls at the desk were wonderful! Especially the gal that gave me my wristbands. I didn’t get her name. Then Madison R.N. Called me back! It was my turn! She was so sweet! We visited about Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan area since we both vacation down there. She totally put me at ease! Dr. Lewis came in and introduced himself and explained what he was going to do.(Nerve Block and anesthesiologist) He was also caring, answered questions and very nice. Morgan, R.N. Came in to wheel me to surgery and took care of me in surgery. She seemed very nice, although I was pretty much out so don’t remember her a lot. Dr. Gregory Ardoin did the surgery. He was wonderful! He answered our questions and was compassionate. I would highly recommend him! Whatever they all did…they know, because we are following doctor’s orders and my recuperation has been going very well. Even the gal that scrubbed my foot to prepare for surgery was very gentle and caring. I want to thank them all for their expertise and knowledge!

This place runs like a well oiled machine. From the moment you walk through the door, you're welcomed by friendly, caring people who have one agenda. Taking care of you. Had a total hip replacement and they quickly put my fears at ease. Absolute best surgical experience I have ever had.

Dr. Philip Smith did an, Right Shoulder Arthroscopic. What can I say. Yesterday August the 20th was my first time visiting Arkansas Specialty Surgery Center. My experience was amazing, from the time I checked in, all the way until I checked out. My anxiety had started to kick in and the nurses that was working with me did their BEST to make sure I got comfortable immediately and I what to thank you all, for everything you all did. On that other note, I would like to thank my anesthesiologist Dr. Lewis for everything he did as well. He talked me through the whole process that he did especially with me being in a house fire back in 2004 that finding a place to find to put an iv in my arm was being stubborn, and he found a place and I truly thank him for that. Once again THANK YOU Dr. Lewis for being careful with me and understanding. The icing on the CAKE goes out to Dr. Philip Smith for doing an Amazing job as well. When I went to the OR, the first thing I remembered was being transferred from the bed to the operating table, and when they put my mask on, when I came to I was in recovery. Once again, THANK YOU TO ALL that attended to me, even the ladies at check in. Thank you Arkansas Specialty Surgery Center. I would definitely recommend your surgery center. Much love. Doctors are outstanding, they are 💯 But it’s the elder lady who I had a problem about. The elderly short lady who assists on checking you out and making sure you got your paperwork. THAT LADY!!! I don’t know if she was being funny or what. She was getting my child some crutches and then ask do we need them, my husband was like no cause we got a pair at home already. Then she reply back saying “you can have a pair at each home” my husband responded back to her saying we only have one home. What do you mean by that, but he stopped himself to avoid any confrontation or out burst about some ridiculous comment the lady made. THIS IS NOT A SINGLE PARENT HOME, and this is what she getting at and assuming. She needs to sit back and do her job and not make idiotic comments or suggestions about anything to make herself look like a damn fool. This is why I gave 3 stars cause her comment. But over all, the surgery went great
