I just wanted to give a huge huge shout out to Dr. Totten. A huge professional. My family and I couldn't be more pleased with the care and KNOWLEDGE that this guy has. Dr. Totten's bedside manner is off the charts phenomenal. The man truly cares about his patients. I felt 100% secure going into surgery, and everything came out better than I expected.

Dr. Totten helped me navigate the scary diagnosis of stage 3 melanoma with such ease. He doesn’t rush you and lets you ask lots of questions. Lexington Clinic moved very quickly in ensuring I got the care I needed. I’m glad they took it seriously before it spread further. After the surgery, they call and check in on you and I really appreciated that. He’s a great surgeon!

I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer in the Sigmoid section of my colon. I found out on Monday, and I met with Dr. Totten on Wednesday. He was professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable; however, he was young and a general surgeon (not a colorectal surgeon). I was apprehensive, and started to weigh my options. Given the circumstances (colon was 85% blocked), and the recommendations from other doctors & surgeons to use him- I decided to trust Dr. Totten. I'm beyond thankful that I did. He done an amazing job, and I would trust him with anything that he would feel comfortable doing. He is completely capable, and he was certainly called to be a surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Totten! He's great!!
