I had a very good experience ! Very good attention prior and after procedure. GOOD communication; Registration people very good; ALL Nurses did a great job; The Doctor was detailed and gave me all the time I need to answer my questions; I feel comfortable from arrival to departure of your premises; ALL well clean !! I had a colonoscopy today and my experience was A+. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and really kind. I don't want to specifically name the Drs and Nurses but they were fantastic and very professional. I was in and out of there in less than 2.75 hours. I would highly recommend going to the LSC. To the Drs and staff at LSC, thank you for your good care and professionalism.

The staff member greeted us warmly and streamlined the whole pleasant check-in experience. In addition, the restrooms and waiting area are both clean, well-lit, and comfortably cooled. There are vending machines offering a wide range of snacks and refreshments. And most importantly, there is a free do-it-yourself Keurig coffee maker.

I and many others have had billing issues with this place. They claim you owe more than you truly do. My deductible is $3,300 and they tried to tell me that I owed them $4,500 before my daughter could even have surgery AND they called me the day before demanding payment before they would move on and do her surgery. Thank GOD for a lovely woman named Leanne at a different place who helped me find another facility and billing help. These people are WACK.

Absolutely infuriating experience before I even stepped in the door. Going for a 100% covered by insurance routine/preventative procedure. They send an "estimate" of almost $1k prior to the procedure but tell me to pay it prior to procedure. Call direct to them, hold forever and disconnected. Call main UK billing, they bounce me 3 times and tell me they can't help me. Call my insurance and they tell me it's probably that Lexington Surgery Center collects the money in case they find something that they can bill extra for. If they don't they'll refund the money in about 3 months. Is that true? I don't know because the center won't answer the phone. First time with this facility and they're infuriating. It doesn't have to be like this. Edit: my insurance finally got ahold of them. Yup, they want almost $1k upfront before a 100% covered procedure. They're a "stand alone facility" and this is how they do things. My insurance was flabbergasted. Edit: Lexington Surgery Center had it coded wrong on *their* end - my UK doc coded correctly. It took multiple calls from me and my insurance to finally dig out the issue through their crap attitude - when they finally picked up the phone. Transfered procedure to a new provider. Done with them. Mistakes happen, being rude and taking hours to make someone else figure out *your* mistake is unacceptable. The cherry on top was the condescending lecture from their billing department about my responsibility to pay my bills - when the bill existing at all was their mistake.
