We had a fantastic experience with Dr. Williams and his team. From the moment we walked in, we felt very well taken care of. My son was extremely nervous going into the appointment after his fracture, but Kevin, the medical assistant, completely changed that for him. Kevin was absolutely incredible. He has such a great attitude and you can genuinely tell he cares about his patients. He took the time to really connect with my son, gave him some great advice, and made him feel comfortable and understood. It didn’t feel rushed or transactional at all. Kevin made a stressful situation so much easier, and that meant a lot to us. Dr. Williams was just as impressive. He was very personable, thorough, and clearly focused on my son’s well-being. He took the time to explain everything, answer our questions, and made sure we felt confident moving forward. He gave us a lot of peace of mind, and we truly felt like my son was in very good hands. Overall, such a positive experience. We’re very grateful for the level of care we received and would highly recommend Dr. Williams and his team!

Yesterday I had the sincere pleasure of meeting Dr. Carl Williams. In the midst of my debilitating health issues, his compassion, kindness and professionalism were a welcome respite from the overall indifference and dismissive attitude I’ve overwhelmingly experienced from various local medical “professionals” since being injured last summer. His staff were also attentive and empathetic. Dr. Williams does not practice the manufactured, corporatized, ‘you have 15 minutes to speak’ approach to medicine. No. He is not here to check a box on a generic, health insurance form. His demeanor is that of one who heals or desires to ease the pain of his fellow man. This used to be the status quo in medicine here in the United States. Unfortunately, today, far too many no longer follow such noble and respectful principles and guidelines. Las Vegas is lucky to have physicians such as Dr. Carl N. Williams. I highly recommend his services to those seeking to heal from ailments that fall within his field of specialty. I’m confident that under his care I can finally be on the road to recovery from my painful injuries. -S. Randall

Dr. Williams is second to none! From my initial consultation all the way through surgery and follow up appointments I am in awe of the knowledge, expertise, attentiveness & caring nature that define him. His calm demeanor assured me that I was in good hands. His entire staff is amazing as well! He truly loves taking care of his patients. I was blessed to have been referred to this wonderful doctor. He took excellent care of my hand. I highly recommend him to anyone needing hand surgery!

Probably the most disorganized surgery office I've ever visited. First and foremost, I would recommend hiring employees who genuinely want to work in patient care. I understand healthcare can be stressful, but from my very first interaction, it was apparent that the staff seemed uninterested in helping patients. I was referred to this office for a broken finger. My initial consultation was a complete mess. My appointment was scheduled for 9:30 AM, yet no one informed me when booking that I was expected to arrive at 9:00 AM to complete paperwork. What's even more frustrating is that I had already completed the paperwork through their Athena system the night before. I've never had a medical office require patients to arrive 30 minutes early for paperwork that was supposedly completed online. When I checked in for my 9:30 appointment, I was told I was late because I hadn't arrived at 9:00 AM, despite that expectation never being communicated to me. So they told me return at 1pm and yet I wasn't seen until 2:45. The issues continued when I attempted to schedule surgery. I had recently changed insurance providers, but my insurance was already active. I provided all the necessary information so the office could verify my coverage. However, because they were unable to verify it on their end, I was told that I would need to wait until my physical insurance card arrived in the mail before scheduling surgery. I had to call them 3 times to figure out when I’m having surgery. Because of the concern over how payment was going to be covered, I ultimately decided to cancel and find a surgeon who seemed more concerned about treatment than how they would get paid. I was not looking for free services. A simple email or phone call explaining the next best steps would have been greatly appreciated instead of being told, "Sorry, we can't schedule your surgery because we can't verify your insurance." This was incredibly concerning. I had already been dealing with a broken finger for two weeks, yet the advice I received was essentially to "wait" for an insurance card to arrive rather than receive guidance on how to move forward with treatment. Being told to delay care for a potentially time-sensitive injury because of an administrative issue is unacceptable. I requested to speak with the doctor for advice regarding my situation and what I should do in the meantime. I was told the doctor was unavailable because he was "always in surgery." However, this conversation took place on a Tuesday, and I had previously been informed that surgeries are typically scheduled on Mondays and Fridays. Whether the information I received was inaccurate or the staff simply chose not to relay my concerns, no effort appeared to be made to help me communicate with the physician. Instead, I was told I would need to come back into the office to speak with the doctor in person and pay approximately $200 out of pocket since they could not verify my insurance. This seemed unnecessary, especially when a brief phone call or email could have provided guidance. I was seen already for my consultation so the MD was aware of my situation. Overall, my experience left me feeling that administrative processes and collecting payments were prioritized over patient care. Patients seeking treatment, especially for an injury requiring timely intervention, deserve clear communication, competent administrative support, and staff who are willing to help navigate issues rather than create additional barriers. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office.
