I've had two surgeries here. It has been a great experience both times.

I had an abdominoplasty by Dr. Raneri. The procedure left a terrible w-shaped scar on my abdomen and dog ear tags on both sides of my hips. I contacted the office to see what could be done about the terrible scar that would show through my clothes and the dog ears that hung over my underwear. Dr agreed that it was not the outcome she had hoped for and agreed to redo the procedure. Mind you nobody wants to do this twice because it is not an easy procedure to undergo. I had the procedure a second time and while doing this the second time she was supposed to correct the dog ears as well as the w-shaped scar. The doctor completely forgot the dog ears and only operated on the scar. The w-shaped scar is gone but I still have dog ears. Now the doctor states she can not correct the dog ears because my insurance will not compensate for it. IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT SHE FORGOT 🤬 I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR.

I have been having functionality issues with my arms and it has been suggested that a brachioplasty would help or possibly resolve those problems. I called this office because it is widely known that a brachioplasty (upper arm lift) is considered to be a cosmetic procedure unless there there are significant functionality deficiencies and insurance generally may not approve coverage. Because of this, I called weeks ago to ask direct questions (on the phone at least 20 minutes) regarding submitting to insurance for this type of procedure. I received a 10:30am appointment on 12/5. I walk out at 10:00 and noticed I had a flat tire so I call the office and let them know I am going to take an Uber. I spoke to Sheryl and let her know I would be a few minutes late, but should arrive before 10:45. As I was arriving at the office at 10:43, I receive a call from Sheryl stating Dr, Ranieri NEVER submits to insurance for this procedure. I just spent 20 dollars on Uber to make this appointment because I was assured that due to my loss of functionality the doctor could submit to insurance. So now I am out 40+ dollars including the return trip because of misinformation. The Dr. never even saw me to determine what the issue was. She just instructed Sheryl to let me know she won't do it. If this is an indication of the way they deal with pertinent information in this office, this probably wasn't the place to trust with my surgery. Be careful!

I would give 0 stars if I could. My dr sent me a referral here for skin removal after losing 70lbs naturally with diet and exercise, since Feb 2024 and also having maintained my weight for almost 2 years now. I started having a pulling muscle pain from my abdomen during my work outs and she never addressed it one time during the appointment. Before the door could even close behind her, she immediately blurted out that she wasn't considering me a surgical candidate because I wasn't close enough to 200lbs. I felt completely dismissed as I was telling her everything I've accomplished on my weight loss journey and working closely with my dr doing weight checks the past couole years. She said that all her patients tell her the same exact thing. She tried manipulating me into starting a GLP-1 or any weight loss medication, so I told her I didn't want to put that medication in my body, per the bad studies and or side effects that comes along with it, and that I would rather continue on my all natural journey instead. She told me my only options were GLP-1s, weight loss oral meds or bariatric surgery since my body wouldn't allow me to lose anymore weight because of my age, hormones, and metabolism. She even told me she would've done my skin removal surgery 10 years ago, but now since modern meds offer GLP-1 medication, that I had no excuse, despite my wishes not to be medicated. She was touching the most sensitive parts of my body like I was an animal and just pointed out all the fat I should' ve lost, instead of addressing anything about my abdominal pain. I want to warn anyone thinking about coming here on an actual health journey to reconsider. Dr. Raineri only cares about the cosmetic part of her surgical career rather than actually focusing on health needs for her patients.
