I absolutely love everyone at this practice! When I walk in the door, im always greeted with a warm smile and a cheerful “hello”! Dr. Scott Mimms also greets you with a friendly smile! He takes the time to sit and listen to what your struggles may be! He is very knowledgeable and caring! You feel as if they are genuinely there to help you In your weight loss journey!His nurse practitioner is amazing and so caring and down to earth! Such wonderful people! I would definitely recommend this practice for all of your needs!

I have been very, very successful with the non-surgical weight loss program at Advanced Surgery Of Indiana. Dr. Scott Mimms is the best !! Dr. Mimms is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. He takes the time to sit down, communicate with you and answers my questions with just enough detail to give me a clear understanding. The office staff is also consistently kind and professional.

His # 1 Patient Dr. Scott Mimms is amazing, and I am not saying that lightly. To me he is a phenomenal doctor. He made me feel as though I was in good hands. He listens to my concerns and takes his time answering questions. As far as my tummy tuck, I had minor pain and NO bleeding. I am currently 1 week post Op today (SMILING). Dr. Mimms perfectly aligned my incision with my panty line and did a great job of removing my scar tissue build up from my C-section. My belly button is perfect and my abdominal is still swollen but that is to be expected. I have 1 drain; it has not been an issue at all. I am snatched! I can’t wait to see my results a few months from now. I can’t leave out nurse Rita and Danielle. They are awesome nurses who care about the wellbeing of their patients. It was obvious they enjoyed their job. To top it all off, my husband was given the post Op care instructions. He was very happy with the information and details they gave him to take care of me. We have followed all instructions to the T. I am glad I did my research on him and formed my own opinion of Dr. Mimms. No one is perfect but he was PERFECT for me. If you’re looking for a flaw, it would be the front office. I would give them a 7 but the nurses and doctor a 10. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Mimms is an excellent doctor. Not only is he knowledgeable; he is a very caring and compassionate person. He will spend time listening and discussing issues with you about your health concerns. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone that needs his help.

It is very hard to consult with or even consider any Dr. because so many are not personable. It seems many times you meet a new Dr that only wants to get you in and out without consult with you on your own individual basis because let's face every patient is different. When I walked in to Dr Mimms office I always felt like a person that mattered and not just a number for payment. The staff was friendly and helpful but most of all Dr Mimms was personable and helpful. He genuinely was concerned about me as an individual and own health concerns pertaining to me, and my life. He offered great advice and helpful ideas to push me forward on a positive journey. I am excited to see what this road with Dr Mimms will offer me and I will definitely refer him to ANYONE who crosses my path. Thank you Dr Mimms you have given me hope for a much healthier and happier life.....!!!!!!!!
