I spent the last year researching mommy makeovers & plastic surgeons in the Houston area. I met with several great surgeons BUT when I met Dr. Vasilakis at Memorial Plastic Surgery, both my spouse & I agreed he was the man for the job! I was confident I booked with the best plastic surgeon in all of Houston! From the initial consultation, I felt heard, understood & cared for! Dr. V took the time to answer all of my questions, and his confidence in helping me reach my goals was incredible to me! Shelby is not only amazing at her job, she’s a beautiful soul inside & out! She truly cares and was invested in my journey & I’ll never forget how special she made me feel! And a big thank you to Sellie for always being prompt and responsive whenever I had a medical question, she is amazing as is all of the staff! I stayed overnight at Hedwig suites & the nurses there were top notch and took such amazing care of me! Dr. V checked on me multiple times after surgery & he even gives you his cell phone number if you or your spouse have any questions & he is VERY quick to respond! I’m 3 weeks post op and my recovery is going so well! My swelling is minimal, my incisions are healing beautifully & I can already see the beautiful craftsmanship & attention to detail in my results! I still wake up every morning in utter amazement that THIS IS MY BODY NOW! I used to hide from mirrors & today I’m loving what I see! I’m so grateful to Dr. Vasilakis! I cannot say enough incredible things about Dr. V! From the very first consult, I felt heard and completely at ease with him. He took the time to understand my goals and priorities and didn't try to talk me into procedures that were not on my list of "wants." I had a 360 tummy tuck/lower body lift, muscle repair, lipo 360 and an arm lift with lipo done about 5 weeks ago. I had seen plenty of Dr. V's work and was completely confident he was going to give me back a body I could be comfortable in after losing almost 100 lbs and having 2 kids. What I didn't realize is that he would do that and more! My results are beyond anything I could have imagined. When people say he is an artist, that's really putting it mildly. Not only is my shape beautifully contoured and natural looking, but the attention to detail is absolutely remarkable. Scar placement - outstanding. The way he made everything flow together and look balanced - I look like the best version of myself that I didn't know was possible. Recovery was far easier than I anticipated, and I think that's based on his post op protocol. I loved being able to stay the first night at the surgery center. He and his team were always so attentive, responsive, and just genuinely care about you. His PA Caroline and MA Sellie are such an awesome team in the office during some of my post op visits! They have answered tons of questions for me and are always so helpful. Also, big shout-out to Shelby, his patient coordinator. From the moment I first talked to her, she totally put me at ease and was so encouraging! I feel more confident, comfortable and happy in my body than ever before. Choosing him was the best decision.
