DVA Plastic Surgery

Recently had a facial here at DVA Plastic Surgery. I arrived for my appointment at 2pm, there’s onsite parking. The facility was nice, practically spotless and very aesthetically pleasing, the waiting area was comfortable. I completed most of the forms online so It took about 5 minutes from arrival to get situated in the treatment room. The treatment room was warm and relaxing, a robe was provided for me to change into. Cassidy did a great job with my facial, I got the dermaplaning facial, this was my first facial and Cassidy made sure to walk me through what she was doing and also checked in with me frequently to ensure I was comfortable. She was very knowledgeable, we discussed my current skincare regimen and she gave recommendations on what products to use and tips on how to address my skin concerns. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I had 3 consultations before deciding on DVA Plastic Surgery, and I ultimately chose Dr. Dare Ajibade to do my breast reduction because he was so detailed and transparent during my consultation. He explained the entire process from beginning to end, which gave me confidence going into surgery. The office is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. You can feel the care and professionalism from the entire team. I appreciated that surgery was offered on a Friday with Saturday follow up options. Day of surgery: The procedure went smoothly, and my results are better than I imagined. I am no longer in constant pain. Follow up care: The follow up was outstanding. I woke up to beautiful flowers from the office, and Taira reached out that day to check on me. I saw Dr. Dare Ajibade the very next day for post op review. Recovery was easier than expected with minimal pain. Again, words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Dare Ajibade. I want to say a special thank you to Ms. Taira, the benefits coordinator — 10/10. She knows her job and is on top of everything. I had an amazing experience with Dr Dare his staff. From the very first consultation, they were warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. The surgeon took the time to listen to my goals and explained everything clearly, making me feel confident and comfortable throughout the process. I regret to write this review after nearly three months of poor communication with this doctor’s office. Initially, I was pleased with my consultation and the staff, and I was told someone would reach out to me for follow-up information regarding my insurance. Unfortunately, I never received any contact. After a month, I reached out myself, and while someone promised I would receive a callback, it never happened. This led to weeks of trying to get information about my insurance and payment options. Eventually, a pre-authorization was submitted, but my insurance company later sent a letter stating it lacked sufficient documentation from the office I contacted the office again, seeking guidance on what additional documentation I could provide to assist with the appeal. I spoke with a women, who mentioned the claim would be resubmitted once Dr. A provided the needed details. I followed up but, to this day, no one has contacted me. It's now 4 months later, and l have received no communication about alternative options or next steps if insurance is denied. The lack of responsiveness has been deeply disappointing,
