To Dr. Mary Jo Wright, the Center for Restorative Breast Surgery (and Drs. Sullivan and Wise), and the entire clinical and administrative team in Frisco, Texas—you have my deepest gratitude. After my bilateral mastectomy and implant-based reconstruction at a major cancer center near home in 2020, I experienced asymmetry (one side “riding high”) along with loose, rippling skin. By 2025, I had developed significant capsular contracture. Through word of mouth, I learned about CRBS and DIEP flap reconstruction. I had initially intended to have surgery in New Orleans, but it was out of network for my insurance. I’m grateful their team referred me to Dr. Wright’s Frisco location, which was in network. From my very first telehealth consultation, Dr. Wright gave me complete confidence to move forward. Traveling for surgery was absolutely worth it. The outcome has been excellent, and the care I received was seamless—clearly grounded in deep expertise that comes from performing so many of these procedures. Dr. Wright’s team has also been exceptionally accessible and responsive throughout the process, and all of my questions were answered. Special thanks to Hannah O’Neill, my PA, as well as Katie, Haley, Patricia, Kaetlin, Nicole, Kayla, and Christacie. My apologies if I’ve missed anyone. Everyone has shown the utmost care and respect for me as a patient. Phase 1 is now complete, and I look forward to returning for Phase 2. As a woman in my sixties, I am happy to say that this procedure has given me back a natural, whole feeling.

Every person at Dr. Wright's office is fantastic, from the office staff to the nurses to Dr. Wright and Hayley the PA! They always seem to be having a good time in office and I have never felt like just a patient to them. Even the office itself is nice to visit. I am extremely happy with the double mastectomy with DIEP reconstruction Dr. Wright performed to remove my breast cancer. The end results look amazing. She was able to get me in for first visit very quickly and the only reason for a delay on surgery is because of my schedule. I was done from first visit to surgery within a month. I would highly recommend Dr. Wright.

Dr. Wright and her staff were genuinely invested in providing me with excellent care during a very stressful and confusing time while dealing with breast cancer. I am very happy with my DIEP reconstruction surgery results, which was done at the same time I had a double mastectomy on 5-22-2025. Dr. Wright explained everything very well to my children and I regarding the surgery and after care. Dr. Wright is an amazing surgeon and I highly recommend using her!

As a breast cancer patient, I have met with many plastic surgeons and have had multiple operations due to several complications over the last 5 years. Before giving up, I decided to meet with Dr. Wright to see if she could improve the overall appearance of many of my previous surgeries done by other doctors. From the initial appointment with her, she has been amazing. Very thorough, honest and caring. I am so happy with the outcome of my surgery. Dr. Wright has literally ‘fixed’ me and given me so much more confidence. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to her for breast surgery. The staff is also very caring and attentive. I could not be happier!

The most amazing surgeon and staff! I'm a breast cancer patient and had a double mastectomy; expanders placed and later swapped to implants in my home state. I was not informed of any other reconstruction options outside of going flat or implants. I had 33 rounds of radiation; which did a number on my skin and I hated looking at myself in the mirror. I was very lopsided and my right side was tight and very uncomfortable. I am so thankful I decided to research other reconstruction options. Dr. Wright did an amazing job and for the first time in over 2 years I can actually look at myself in the mirror again. Dr. Wright is a phenomenal surgeon, she has great bedside manner, she listens and explains everything, her PA, Haley is AWESOME and the rest of the staff is so caring and understanding when speaking with them.
