It is my pleasure to submit my review for Dr. Carl Askren and his Team! I always look forward to my visits. I am a Bakersfield resident and I would not go anywhere else! Every staff member I have met are exceptional! I’ve been a patient of Dr Askren’s for just over a year now and chose him based on two referrals and his 30 plus years of experience! He has an amazing bedside manner, and an unexpected gift of humor. He listened to my concerns and corrected my issues. As a former breast cancer patient, he offered me options to correct my radiated breast that had not been suggested before from my prior Plastic Surgeon. In the past year I have lost 85 pounds. He was able to use the loose skin under my arms to pull forward in an effort to remove radiation burns from my right breast, while doing a complete reconstruction of both breasts after my post cancer surgery of 2021. He is an amazing artist and a genius at what he does. Six months later I trusted him to give me a tummy tuck. I am now 4 weeks post op and I feel amazing. I still have a drain tube that he checks weekly. He gave me the waist that I asked for and he got rid of my belly and a C-section scar that I’ve had for so many years as a result of a tubal pregnancy in my early 30s. He removed that scar and gave me a flat tummy. I feel like a new woman at 69 years old. (It’s my new 49) I am retired and feel like my life just began! Thank you Dr Askren for making me so happy!

Dr. Zuniga is great! I appreciate a doctor that will go over the good outcomes and possible bad outcomes. I am one of those who like detail and that is what you get. All the team members have been friendly and professional.

Dr. Zuniga is very knowledgeable and caring surgeon. He spend enough time with his patients during each visit and he makes sure to answer all the questions patient may have. His office staff are very nice, professional and welcoming. They deserve 6 stars!!

I had my explant w/ Dr. Stephen Zuniga. He was polite, to the point. He didn't try to sell me on unnecessary surgery, lifts, or fat transfers. I just wanted my implants out. Now I'm healthy, light, and feeling great. My results are fantastic, my body really bounced back after having 400cc silicone, under muscle for 16+ years. The surgery went without a hitch. Excellent doctor, suport staff, and facilities. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10!
