Dr. Jerry Popham

In late 2013, my dermatologist attempted to remove what we both suspected was a sebaceous cyst near my left eyebrow. During the surgical procedure she indicated that it was not a cyst and far too involved so she referred me to Dr. Popham. In January 2014, he attempted to remove the mass, claiming that he couldn't remove it all. When the biopsy came back from the lab, we met and he informed me that the results indicated that it was a very rare sarcoma (DFSP) and that if I wanted it removed completely, I would need to see a MOS surgeon. Since this may result in the loss of my left eye, left eyelid and or the removal of my sinuses he recommended having periodic MRI's to monitor the spread. From 2013 until 2017 I had biannual MRI's and fortunately the mass had not spread. I recently had cataract surgery and noticed a small lump directly below the DFSP surgical scar and was referred to an ENT specialist would ordered an MRI. I just received the results and there is no sign of metastasis. As it turns out, the Veterans Administration has confirmed that this sarcoma is directly related to exposure to Agent Orange during my tour of duty in Vietnam. I cannot find the words to express my satisfaction with Dr. Popham but will say I am over the moon with the results of his surgical expertise.

Dr popham was great! He is kind, gentle, and witty! Explained my procedure well. During follow up, i was impressed by the art work throughout the building. Dr. Was open about his faith and volunteer work cross country in Vietnam. Kim is great Surgery center, the experience was the best I've ever had. You won't be sorry coming here!

Had upper and lower eyelid surgery by Dr Popham, and although I had lots of bruising and swelling that lasted a long time, my results 9 months later are amazing! Very natural results. Dr Popham and his staff are amazing.

I have now had multiple surgeries at this office. Each surgery involving multiple procedures. Some precedures were minor like injectable fillers and lasers. Some procedures medical, because of problem with my eyelid which was painful and required surgery. And some procedures were cosmetic. I can tell you that after intervening multiple doctors and also having experienced other surgeries with other doctors in my home state of Florida and also when I lived in Texas, this doctor is the best. He is very knowledgeable and yet kind and patient in explaining things I didn't understand. Many of the employees like kim, and the receptionist, (sorry forgot her name), and the nusrses, were wonderful. I have a fear of needles. And for my iv, they even put numbing before attachment. They go the extra mile in every way possible. The surgery center is top notch and so clean. I, 100% highly recommend this place and this doctor. If I had a son or a daughter, I definitely would bring them here. I even recommended him to my friend just yesterday, because after hearing me rave, she wants to have her neck done.

I have nothing but good things to say about PAOC. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to help you out with any questions you might have. Dr. Popham is very kind, has a gentle ,steady touch and I am always very pleased when I leave his office. I highly recommend this practice.
