Dr. Bershof is amazing. The attached photos speaks to his talents. Melanoma left a 2 inch hole in my face. He did a double graft and within 6 months you could barely tell. Now 6 years later no one notices. Very skilled surgeon. Exceeded my expectations!

Dr. Bershof's medical acumen is off the charts, and his experience and knowledge are combined with a caring and generous manner. While being a fantastic surgeon, he is also just really pleasant to be around. He tells great jokes and keeps the mood light. Dr. Bershof is passionate about medicine and his patients, and I highly recommend his practice to anyone looking for a top-notch surgeon.

Unfortunately, although I had some positive experiences in the past with this doctor, the practice has really gone downhill. Eva, as mentioned in earlier reviews, doesn’t seem to have the ability to communicate effectively with patients. Her email messages aren’t even coherent or accurate. Recently, Dr Bershof decided not to do a basal cell removal as he had previously consulted and agreed to. No explanation. Eva said he was sending me to another doctor. Turns out the doctor he sent me to was the wrong doctor for the procedure. That surgeon said he had no idea why Dr Bershof sent me to him but agreed to do the surgery anyway. This new doctor was a otolaryngologist and he was annoyed about doing this surgery. He even showed me a note from Dr Bershof office saying they were not PCP’s and were sending me to him… even he said he had no idea why they would send such a weird note to him. The whole thing was strange. We all know that Dr Bershof is not a PCP. After the procedure I reached out to Dr Bershof for some information to try and understand what happened. I called the office and they said to email Eva. Well, at first she just ignored me…then after writing again a few weeks later, I got a garbled message from Eva. Her message appeared to come from Dr Bershof and didn’t make any sense but they passed the blame on to the other doctor and clearly dismissed me - said we were done. So, I had the repercussions of being sent to the wrong doctor, experiencing that doctor’s annoyance and going through a massive hospital preparation and full anesthesia for what should have been a fairly straightforward office procedure - according to the message from Dr Bershof’s office. When I reached out for some clarification as to what was actually going on, they seemed to think they had sent me to a dermatologist…after claiming they were not PCPs …then they told me that Dr Bershof was done communicating with me. Very negligent dodgy behavior. Awful experience.

I had a consultation with Dr. Bershof and had a great experience, but unfortunately, the patient care coordinator Eva doesn't seem to know what's going on. I went to Bershof to get lipomas removed from my arms and instead of sending me a cost analysis for that procedure, Eva instead sent me a quote for a breast augmentation. I asked 3 times since then to get the correct quote. She proceeded to give me the date and time for the actual procedure and told me to confirm instead of simply providing what I've been requesting. Don't waste your time!
