CHRISTUS Surgical Hospital

On Monday December 15, 2025, checked it at admissions for scheduled procedure with Doctor S. Vela. The hospital is the very best I have ever been in starting with the admission associate who was very professional, respectful and thorough. The nurses were so great professional, courteous, attentive to the business at hand and always with a smile. The surgical room associates were so great always smiling, asking if I was comfortable and ok all of them very professional. Dr. Vela was very calm, asking how I felt and making me feel very relaxed and performed the procedure colonoscopy with very experienced skill. I was monitored constantly before and after by very dedicated nurse associates and released after about an hour from start to finish feeling great. I cannot say enough about the professional staff and Doctor S. Vela as a retired Navy Officer they are the very best that I have had tend to me and they all thanked me for my military service. Today's medical procedure went incredibly smoothly, much to my relief and satisfaction. I was quite nervous going in, but Doctor Torres and the entire nursing staff were absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel comfortable and at ease, explaining every step of the process with patience and empathy. Doctor Torres demonstrated exceptional expertise and a reassuring bedside manner, which greatly eased my concerns. The nurses were equally fantastic, attentive to my needs and quick to offer support or a kind word. Their professionalism and kindness truly made a difference in my experience today. I couldn't be more grateful for the high standard of care I received. A heartfelt thank you to Doctor Torres and the nursing team for their outstanding care.

My husband had Achilles tendon repair and a few other surgical procedures done at this campus. From registration to post op nurses, the care provided was excellent! Our pre op nurse Denise was so personable and friendly and made us feel at ease. We are so pleased with our experience here.

Efficient, professional, caring health care workers. Heatheren, my nurse, was very attentive and cheerful and made sure that I was comfortable. The anesthesiologist and his nurse Mary were informative and kind. I felt that I was in very good hands. Dr. Peter Neff, my orthopedic surgeon, is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. Facility was very clean. I highly recommend this surgical hospital and staff!

I did not have a good experience here at this place! My 7 year old daughter had dental work done and it was not a great experience!! My daughter is a cardiac patient and her chart was not read thoroughly also the front desk receptionist is Very rude. I was given an aftercare packet, but there is no number to call for emergency to speak to a nurse. They didn’t no follow up. And I am so disappointed in the way the nurses and doctors took care of my daughter….
